But now i really want this persona 4 game but im wondering if its worth buying again in case the same happens

I mean personally for me. Persona 4 is reason enough to own a Vita :p It is such a good game and if you get into and really stick at it. You are talking hundreds of hours of game play on one game alone.

Soul Sacrifice is also looking to be an immense game too which is out in just under a month too.

I think the Vita are getting some nice games, granted few and far between. But there is enough to keep me happy. That said I have only been playing Persona 4 for like the last 4/5 months (I got an US copy early) lol.

As for bundles I'm not 100% sure to be honest. Shopto have "Playstation Vita : Wi-Fi Model + Assassins Creed 3 Liberation + 4GB SD Memory Card" for £199.99 which seems pretty good. Although personally I would lob the 4GB card and get at the least a 16GB card.

Although I will admit prior to P4 coming out, I was having my doubts with the Vita. I really liked the system, the quality of the console feels high end and the screen is amazing. But it did (some will argue still does) have a lack of games. I think it is getting some decent ones bit by bit. Also depending on how well this PSVita and PS4 connectivity works, it could really come into its own.

I've had my Vita since day one and if I'm honest although it is not used 100% all the time. I'm still happy with the purchase.

Thanks for the info!

Persona is the ssort of game i wanted when the vita came out but it was knowhere to be seen, but now it looks like sony is starting to offer better indie games etc which i think are perfect for the platform

I still dont really know what persona is but ive just finished ni no kuni and am in a jrpg mood :P

It's crazy good right :D Such a quality game looks extremely polished on the Vita too.

Yeah still entralled with it. Im well into December now, I think I might take it a lot slower with my second playthrough as I have pretty much lived on the game the past week.

I think it might have been a bit of a mistake playing it on hard mode the first time. I should have saved it for my second playthrough so I got the hang of things at the start a bit better. Is very hard a massive step up?

So what is soul sacrifice? Big rpg?

It looks kinda like Monster Hunter crossed with Demon's/Dark Souls - basically an Action RPG that looks full of awesome.

Typical. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy Atelier Totori Plus, and the PSN is down :p Will hopefully get around to buying it tomorrow, and probably post a review of my own of the game for anyone interested in it once I've given it enough time.

I must say I have not tried very hard yet so no idea personally. I'm still going through my first play through (I don't get a huge amount of time to play games anymore :( ) which is on normal. Which I have to say is kind of trivial, I wish I had chosen a harder difficulty but don't really want to start again till I've completed my first play through.

I may end up getting distracted from P4 for a bit because the Soul Sacrifice demo is out this afternoon :) From what I have read it is the same demo they had in Japan which (as crunchman said) is the complete first chapter. I played the Japanese demo and probably spent about 10 hours or more... this is on a demo !!! I'm looking forward to actually understanding what I'm doing and being able to read what is being said this time around.

I've just checked and the Soul Sacrifice demo is up on the store now. I also had to download an update, but that might be because I dont connect to PSN very often. Its not a small demo......1230mb

I got a bit overwhelmed earlier on with how long the boss battles sometimes take, a lot of the bosses and stronger enemies seem to be able to 1 hit my character with some abilties. When some of the boss fights take 15 minutes or so for me, its a bit disheartening to get to the game over screen after putting the work in because my character got 1 shotted. Its not so bad now as I can buff the party/debuff the enemies and my team mates can take mortal blows for me if I get caught out. I made a big mistake not experimenting with different personas at the start of the game, it made things a lot easier when I did.

Also, does the vita now support the ps1 classics as it didnt when i first had one?

Ta

It does! Very nicely too, with a fair amount of customisation ranging from display/resolution and controls (can even get games that only used the D-pad on PSone to work with the analog sticks).

Sounds good! Like the psp then! Does it support all the classics on the store or only certain ones?

Thanks

It's worked with all the ones I've tried (I now have Final Fantasy 1-9 working on one console, and will soon be joined by FFX + FFX-2 HD!), but if I'm uncertain a quick Google search will usually tell me if it will work or not :)

I've managed to play a bit of the Soul Sacrifice demo this evening. I'm really liking it so far. Although the voice acting for Librom is just terrible, its almost comical :( Glad the pre-order comes with the Japanese voice acting pack. Will use that and have English subtitles I think.

I've avoided j-anything games for the longest time (with the exception of crisis core on psp, for some reason), but I tried Virtue's last reward and surprisingly really like it! Maybe I'll try P4G now that I'm not prejudice against Japanese games...

I tried Virtues Last Reward myself for the first time too last night, kinda feels like I'm in a Saw movie without the violence haha.

Looking forward to trying out Soul Sacrifice later...
