Can one of you kind Sirs explain to a noob how the mem card stuff works. I thought you can get games on physical cards which reduces the need for DL from PSN. Then the Mem card is for saves etc? 8Gb should be enough then?

I dont own a Vita but was considering and buying all games as physical rather than DL.

The 3G seems a good price at OCUK but is there any need for 3G? How is the browser and any apps like Gmail etc?

I hadn't tried this Virtues Last Reward till I saw people mentioning it on here (I've had plus for quite a while I just queue up all the new goodies each month without really paying attention what I'm actually getting - Christ its difficult with a 16gb card :p) Must say this is looking pretty damn interesting, I'd been getting a bit bored of gaming recently but I'm rather intrigued to see where this goes!

While I played VLR on the 3DS, I loved that game. The story was awesome. And I can say nothing after that because it can spoil it xD

Mem cards are used for game saves and game installs for downloaded games, most PS1 classics and PSP games that are on the playstation store can be downloaded and played on the Vita (or downloaded and copied through the PS3). Also I only have one hard copy game (soul sacrifice), everything else is downloaded... not because I bought them but because PS+...

I have 10GB left on my 32GB card, it is weeping haha. PS+ is amazing if you have both PS3 and Vita imo, but especially for the Vita, if you managed to grab a lot of the Vita games from past months. But avoiding that and you're not going to download anything, then I guess 8GB will be enough as as you say, physical copies do come on a card.

edit: Basically what I'm trying to say, if you have PS+, then 8GB is not enough imo, some of them weigh in around 3GB each. But if you have no problem playing one (or two) at a time then 8GB probably will suffice, and if you don't have PS+ at all and will be buying only physical then I'm sure 8GB will be fine. To be honest someone more versed in the matter may contradict what I say, I've only had my Vita for about a week haha.

So yesterday I ........ Bought a vita :D
I got uncharted , little big planet and modnation racers with it , and also a 4gb memory card to get me going with it,
I've only played uncharted so far as it was the first game I tried and was glued to it :p .
I can't believe how good these are maybe I should have got one sooner !
Had a look round the playstation store and was amazed how much content there is ! , so were to go from here ? I've not tried the AR cards yet , any recommendations please , I've seen there is a 8gb memory card due out soon with 10 games included is anyone getting this?

I'd probably look at getting a bigger memory card soon unless you plan on buying most of your games in physical format. Games like Uncharted are about 3gb alone.

Also, if you're not already a member, I'd definitely recommend Playstation Plus - usually get 2 Vita games per month. This month it's Rayman Origins and Coconut Dodge Revitalised, and next month (from 3rd July) it's Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus and Unit 13.

I got a free 30 day ps plus code so I'm downloading Rayman now :) , I will keep a look out for a deal on a bigger memory card as I can see it getting filled up with only this months ps plus :p

The Vita Mega pack is fantastic, just a shame they dont do it with bigger memory cards. My 32gb is full from ps plus and I know id lose the card if i buy another one and attempted to swap - they really should offer decent sized storage solutions 64 or 128gb.

Has anyone tried that coconut dodge game? I spent about 10 minutes playing it, got to level 10 or whatever, didn't get hit by one coconut, deleted it. Was I missing something?

No thats about it! haha. it gets faster and faster, you just gotta keep dodging.

Swapping cards also sucks because you lose all your icon placements etc.

I would instantly buy a 64/128GB card if they were available as my 32GB is also full now.

Best PS Vita deal at the moment? struggling to find any decent ones.

Also I guess with Playstation Plus it's not really necessary to buy the games unless there is a title your desperate for?

Seems like they offer very good titles every month.

I presume more titles have been announced too right? I remember seeing something around e3 time about 90 or something being announced.

Rather not spend over 180 for it though unless there is plenty involved.. that mega pack deal is good but too pricey.

Another noob Q - if I signed up for PS+ and download a game is it mine for good or only while I am subbed to PS+ ???

The games are yours only while you are subbed to PS+

So the main question is boys and girls...

I've got £8 in my PSN wallet. What game should i buy!? It doesn't have to be £8 though, any price. It can be ps1. psp or vita. I'm a little tempted by the Motostorm rc game, that looks alright, i've heard wipeout is good and its already been on ps+ so i dont think it'll be back on.
