***** PlayStation Vita Official Thread *****

I do hope when they do a smart glass like app for phones/tablets they do an upgraded one specific for Vita, its those little things Im looking out for as part of the whole PS4 stuff as it would most definitely sweeten the deal...

Next time I see it cheap Ill probably buy it :)

ps3ud0

I have it - the easiest way to describe it is a 2d hack and slash version of Diablo.

So far I've completed the first difficulty with the Fighter class, and I'm about half way through the first difficulty with an Archer. There are 3 difficulties in total for you to replay through, which lets you get to a higher level/get better gear.

The multiplayer is really fun on it, but if you don't like/won't play MP, I think at around £35 the price is a tad too high to justify. If you're into MP and looking for a game with lots of replayability then by all means pick it up, it's a solid game.

I'm gonna be playing Killzone Mercenary pretty much all day if anyone would like to join, PSN in sig.

Thanks :)

How are you liking killzone?

got myself a 8GB card ordered up today from the purple shirt posse for a next day in store collection....not 5 minutes after paying etc "sorry there is a problem getting your order to you". hopefully just missed the cut off for get it transferred for delivery to store tomorrow

Also picked up SFxTekken for £13, NFS MW for £12.99 and a digital code for FIFA 13 for £5 :)....Thats my holiday entertainment sorted

Thanks :)

Absolutely loving it - would say it's easy my favourite game on the Vita. Completed the campaign on Veteran and played tons of MP already, if you're into FPS's I really recommend it!

Only thing I would say though is it can cramp your hand after a while if you don't have a grip, but I'm glad I got one as I'm sure I will like it when playing other games too.

I'm wondering whether I should cancel my 32gb £39.99 card order. Its estimated delivery (from UK) is 17th-19th of September, so got a few days to cancel. I just worry that the 64gb will be only £10-15 more. Even if it's £30 more, it might force down all the smaller cards:confused:

Hhhhmm, want one of those 64GB cards - didn't take long to max out my 32GB :(

Same. I've got a 32 and a 16 but it's just not enough, it's never enough :(

I know you can transfer them to the PS3/PC, but I like the convenience of having everything that I may want to play with me.

I do yeah, it's not actually a problem but sometimes when I'm commuting or waiting at the airport I'm in the mood to play different games and I like knowing that I have everything I may be in the mood to play on my cards.

Hi,

So I have two boys, and two vita's.

I also have two spare 8GB memory cards, because i upgraded both Vita's to 32gb.

I also purchased two PS + accounts, thinking it was the best way for both to be signed on at the same time and for both to be able to play online at the same time.

However, now I'm wondering, was this the best thing to do?

Some people are saying you can have two vita's against one PS Network profile and against one PS + account.

1.\ Can anyone confirm that both Vita's can be on at the same time? With both playing the same game...

2.\ If playing the same game, can they play it online using the same profile?

3.\ If not, seeing that I have two paid up PS + can i somehow have one Vita using either profile, reason being, is i want to buy some PSN games, however i don't want to buy them twice, so if i can just buy them under one profile, and have that one title installed on both PS Vita's by logging in to one of the vita's using the account on the other vita? make sense ?

Bottom line, i don't mind keeping both PS + subscriptions, but when i'm buying a game, i don't want to have to buy it twice. If there's a way i can switch out a memory card, so one mem card is on a profile with its own userprofile, and another card, with another existing profile, that's being used on a the other vita in my household.

I think to the best of my knowledge that it is one vita / PSN / PS+ per account

so you would have to buy a game per each of those account.....if anyone knows better then please then jump in :)

Question for myself, if i copy my digital copy of battle royale from my vita to my PS3...will it take the save game with it

Am i right in saying you still cant back up vita saves without PS+?

Ta

Put one of the PSN+ profiles on both Vitas, and use that to download any purchased games to them. Once a game is installed, any profile should be able to play it.

ETA: To clarify, I'm assuming the Vita works in the same way as the PS3.

Sad to say, the slimline Vita looks unlikely to be out here anytime soon.

Been umming and ahhing since the price drop, finally splashed out and got one now I know there won't be another price drop in the near future, plus the Vita TV sounds ideal with a PSV and PS4 tied in.

Vita, 8Gb card with the 10 game megapack, Fifa 13 and 30 days PS+ sub all for £154. Not bad at all!

just got my ps vita, with the 10 game mega pack, currently just trying out the 10 games and the ones currently free with psn+

also managed to get pc world to do the travel pack for £7.97! (price matching blockbuster)
