cheers i think ill pick that up when i get home, love crazy taxi for a quick pick up and play game when i just want a few mins of fun... i have it on my phone but the controls are not great

FIFA 14 is another repack of FIFA 11
Utterly shameless EA
I was hoping for cross platform multiplayer and ultimate team instead I get nothing
I guess I might just pick up that new title that looks a cross between Gauntlet and Final Fight

I hear the new slim vitas have an LED instead of the Super OLED that the current has. That'll mean they won't have the true blacks and have has vivid colours.

For crazy taxi Do it through the sony network web store on net...
For some reason it doesnt show on vita store

Is this a PSP title or a Vita title ? and its showing as $4.99, so i guess its not on as good of a sale in the US.

WTF ! Just spent $4.99 on this, and its telling me on my Vita, from the PSN Store, cannot download using a PS Vita System. How exactly are you guys playing this on your vita's ?

It was PSP "fair wars" version you bought? As the normal psn version of just crazy taxi was on on sale too but was 3 pound something

It just appeared in my vita downloads list on store once I bought it. Also can transfer from ps3....that worked too

I've always thought that Crazy Taxi was one of those games where they got it just right first time. I used to play CT1 all the time on my Dreamcast. CT2 was ok but I preferred 1. I never got on with picking up more than one passenger and the built up city had too many 90 degree turns. Didn't like 3 although the Vegas scenery looked nice.

Yes, i managed to download it from my PS3 and install it on my Vita. However I wish I hadn't now.

Loved the DC/Arcade original. Here are my disappointments, in order.

  • The game was designed for a 4:3 screen, and all they've done is stretch it out to fit the 16:9 screen, spoiling its feel.
  • The original ran at 60fps, this runs at 30fps, again spoiling its feel.
  • The original music is gone, spoiling the nostalgia.
  • The game is jaggy on the Vita OLED
  • The original advertising, which was first in kind, is gone. KFC, Pizza Hut and Tower records which again, slightly spoiled the nostalgia.

Agreed. First was the best by far. I do still have my old DC stashed away somewhere in the attic. After my Vita / PSP disappointment, i'm almost tempted to go dig it out, figure out a way to get it working in the US (Its a UK model) on a modern TV, and play CT one more time. If only we could get an original remake, with the music, screen ratio, and the hell with it, even the original advertising, that made the game what it was ! That's what Retro gaming is all about.

Have you held onto the PS button and played about with the settings? as you can turn on bilinear filitering and edit the screen size from what i remember......my battery just died and charger is at home or i would check

come on....for £1.59 you cant really beat it up too much :)

Agreed! 3 was horrible and 2 as you say doesnt have the same feel.

I have both of first 2 for the DC and still love 1 most :)

botom line....B.D Joe is in the first one lol

some other classics i am really enjoying on my vita atm are

Track and Field - PSone
Bishi Bashi Special (AMAZING!) - PSone
Pinball Fantasies and Dreams - Minis
Tekken 6 - PSP

Want to get the original Resident Evil Directors Cut reinstalled pre holiday too :)

Is there anyway I can get the PSN Europe games for the Vita I'm in the US and my account is PS + account is US.

I'm guessing no, since you can't switch profiles on the Vita.

Edit. i even tried adding it to the basket using my profile and it told me to f.off.
