***** PlayStation Vita Official Thread *****

I think its time for a vita, I've been banking games up on ps+ for the past few months so I'll probably be best getting the 32gb card now they've been sighted once more in the rainforest...

Do I go for:

£99.99 preowned WiFi model and get the 32gb card?

£130 new WiFi and get a 32gb card?

£155 WiFi model with 8gb card, crappy game pack and then buy the 32gb card on top?

...or be true to my Yorkshire roots and wait around for a better deal?

Wait until Tesco have the deal on again that I've just got. 3G/Wifi Vita + 8GB memory card + 10 game pack for £149 (using £20 off voucher code). I never buy second hand consoles personally.

If u have access to mm have a look.whats on offer too.

I paid 170 last july for mine fully boxed as new with 2 games, 4gb card and carry pouch

I'm really worried about dropping my vita :(

Is there a wrist loop I can get that attaches to the metal protrusions at the bottom left and right of the vita?

Something like the Wii controller wrist loop would be perfect.

I'm sure there must be something like this available but not sure what to search to find what I want. Ta

The Vita Starter Kit has a wrist strap in it. The kit is about 19 quid, kinda expensive IMO, but you get two cases for the vita and a case for games and a screen protector too.

£7.99 for travel kit or ££9.97 for starter kit at blockbuster.

I ordered a 32Gb card from Amazon last week, which said 3 weeks to a month for dispatch, but it's just been dispatched today. £39.99, pretty happy with that (aside from Sony ripping us off with these memory cards).

With a bit of juggling I've got 7 games on my 8GB and I also just bought Killzone boxed which is going to keep me going for a good while.

Ok it includes some indie games but I have 4 well known games on there.

If I want to play a game I can just delete something, download it and play it. And using ps plus upload my game save so I can carry on from where I left off. Games don't take long to download...

Also does anyone know how the Near app works?

I tried it and I thought I had vita gamers on my street but looking at the scale I think theyre at least 4.5 km away.

Don't get it.

Got my new grip today. Went for the Easy Grip from KÖNIG. Have to say it is bloody brilliant. Was gonna go for the Hori Grip but the KÖNIG just looked so much more comfy and easier to use the shoulder buttons. Very happy with my choice. :D
Just waiting on my 32gb card now and I'm set.

Has anyone put any time into the VR games that need the camera and that cardboard...thing? The gamers are free to download from the PSN but I just cba and dont want to lose the memory card space.

Just went into my local Asda to look at vita games, they didn't have any but they had a selection of 3DS games. Didn't even have any ps network cards...probably because its not a very big Asda.

Anyone know if supermarkets stock vita games or do they think there isnt a big enough demand for them?

My Local Sainsbury's tends to keep the top 10 Vita games. But it's quite a big shop so they have loads of things. They even have to top 5 wii u games :p

Has anyone played ragnarok odyssey?

I haven't tried my local Asda, but all the others have a few over priced selection of PS Vita ganes.
