***** PlayStation Vita Official Thread *****

quick question around the Vita and PS+ if anyone can help.

In order to keep the games from previous months to i need to have them installed on my PS3 ready to go at all times? or once i have clicked the "download" button on PS store and it is in my list can i just redownload as many times as i want when needed as long as the subscription is still in place?

My PS3 HDD is taking a battering atm as i didnt want to risk it :(

Once you've hit download on the PS3 or the web store, you've basically "bought" the game and it's attached to your account. There is no need to download them at any point in order for them to be registered.
 
Can anyone recommend me a decent quality hard case for the Vita? It's hard to tell what they are like online and i've read about some cases damaging the sticks on the vita

glad i just bit the bullet and ordered myself a 500gb drive for the PS3 then :)

It becomes a monthly ritual....new content available, go through and 'buy' each game for PS3 and Vita, then download selected ones. Then, when you need one of the others, DL it :)
 
Ok so I received my vita from ShopTo with killzone, fifa and 30 day trial of PS+ (so I could download motorstorm and uncharted) then I have my PS4 ordered from them too with killzone and a years PS+.

So I try to activate the PS+ trial and it wouldnt activate, contact Sony (as the slip of paper said so that it came on) and they tell me the below;

"As the voucher is for a free trial, it's only valid for new PlayStation Plus subscribers. If you're already a PS Plus member, you'll not be able to redeem this voucher as you can't stack a voucher on top of a paid subscription. Additionally, if you've had a PlayStation Plus subscription or free trial in the past, then you'll also not be able to redeem the voucher."

I'm not a PS+ subscriber but I do remember getting a month or so free aaaages ago when I had my PS3 after the hacking scandal.

Went back to ShopTo with this and they basically couldn't care, they are not prepared to do anything about it at all.

I had to go to Game to buy a years PS+ so I could download the two games I wanted before they were moved from PS+.

Nowhere in the product description does it mention anything with regards to the free trial and its limitations. I know I could send it back on this basis but I do want to keep it.

Am I being unreasonable in wanting something done?

Even a goodwill gesture of £5 credit maybe, just as a sorry....
 
Totally unreasonable, could you imagine if you could keep using 30 day trails?

You can also get a three month or monthly sub now so you didn't have to rush out for a yearly. Those games will be on PS+ for at least a month.
 
Go and buy a sub - frankly, it is such excellent VFM that I cannot see why one doesn't chuck £30/year at it :confused:
 
Well, I bit the bullet. Been accumulating vita games for months with my psplus.

My local game had a deal for the WiFi + 8 game card for £139. They gave me the 3g version by accident.
 
:D Didn't really care about 3G, but not going to say no ;) £140 for a wifi vita + 8gb memory card and a few decent games seemed like a good enough deal. It came with Everybody's Golf and an assortment of racing games.

I knew they'd screwed up when the shop assistant looked puzzled, then keyed in a £80 discount. They looked busy selling BF4.

Just finished Killzone Mercenary, one of the best games of the year imho.

Thought I would get into multiplayer, but I can't seem to join any online multiplayer games, nothing happens when I try to join a game, anyone else had probs with multiplayer?
