***** PlayStation Vita Official Thread *****

Just bought a new PSVita, £139.99 for a 3G model with Tearaway, Little Big Planet and a 4Gb Memory Card, I then for a £10 Argos Voucher, so used that to get a 16GB Card for £15 cash...not a bad haul...
 
So I off to finally get me a copy of killzone tomorrow. Rather excitdd as it looks cracking..who else has this out of curiosity? I trading some stuff in at cex and getting copy there.

Six million dollar question before I buy is does the game require an online pass for mp or has Sony had a heart and dropped that now?

Just wondering, where is the best place to pick up a cheap case for my new Vita? Game had nearly nothing in earlier, also looking at getting a 32GB or 64GB card, where can I find one of these...oh, and I want P4G again...

I got a sleeve, similar to the ones that came free with the (early?) PSPs. It's been fine so far, and they're only a few quid on that auction site. It isnt as hard wearing as a plastic case but it has survived a year of being bunged in my work bag which gets thrown around my car and sat on on the train etc.
 
Hori grip is brilliant. Got mine on the rainforest for 11 quid....have clown sized hands and it makes life MUCH easier

Just checked n it looks like its £9.73 delivered now :)

My word...just booted up Tearaway to have a laugh before I go trade it in...it's...it's beautiful...first game to truly make me fuzzy inside and smile...it's a keeper. Such a fantastic game, the interaction, the camera is a nice touch and I love poking my fingers into the world. Shame I didn't grab all the Vita PS-Plus titles between Jan and now...missed out on Wipeout :(

EDIT: Anyone played Killzone Mercenary yet, if so, is it as good as the reviews make it out to be?

I have to wait for xmas but safe to safe I cant wait to play tearaway :). I will let you know about killzone if i manage to go grab a copy later

I still need to finish this xD I also perform better on this in mp than Shadow Fall, which I get it handed to me! And yeah insane patch size, one of the few reasons I went and got a 64GB card xD
 
Does the 1.2gb update hang around on your memory stick after it has been applied or can you delete it?

I would have thought the retail boxed version would have the update already applied by now but i guess i have no idea how long it takes to shift all the old copies before the updated ones get made, delivered, sold...
 
Bottom line.....killzone is truly incredible graphically and plays brilliantly

If you dont have it.....you need to get on it :)
 
Going to go trade in LBP and Kingdom Hearts tomorrow and put some towards Killzone...watched some reviews, it grabs me. Also, what 3G sim-card should I be looking at grabbing if I want to game online on the train for example?
 
Is there different models of vita. trying to figure out why the 3g and WiFi model is selling for £139 with a 4mb men card and tearaway and lpb. When the WiFi model is selling for nearly £40 more.
