***** PlayStation Vita Official Thread *****

I only have 29k debt so thought why not, love it, loved my PSP too though as I travel a fair bit every couple of weeks so it makes a 5hr train journey so much nicer :) but I also get good use of it around the house and at hospital appointments etc its a great time killer and the launch games for Vita are mostly superb, time I get through most of them then the 2nd wave will be hitting us :D
 
Is it true, or am I making it up....

But is FIFA on he vita cross platform (vita/ps3) so when I play online I could be playing someone on a ps3?

I would say it entirely depends on your habits.

For me I have the following needs for it:
Tube to work everyday - 30 mins solid gaming each way.
Girlfriend watching programs about models and gypsy weddings etc. I can sit with her, chat and play great games at the same time.
Going to GF's parent's house to cat/house sit
I fly a lot
I work late, but wait for an hour for database guys to do stuff

All of these opportunities for gaming make this ideal for me. Plus, I love gadgets and don't foresee that I will need the money for something else in the near future.

any news on netflix app in uk? could i download it via my us account on my ps3 and transfer it to my vita doubt it right?

hmmm wipeout or rayman unsure what to get next!

whats everyone spending most there time on?

i have uncharted, stardust, tales from space, and motorstorm! uncharted is on cart tho so still got room on the 8gb card i had to get as gamestation ran out of 16gb even tho i preordered one!

Not in this version. They are going to try and get more of the cross platform options into 13.

People with the pre-order codes. Did you receive your home items and avatar separately to the £5 off voucher? Ive received the emails for home items and avatar but not the £5 off for Super Stardust delta as yet
 
Yeah it's a seperate email LeeTaylor.

Just got my Travel Kit, pretty impressed to be honest. It's compartmentalised (spelling?) so that your Vita is in a seperate section and well protected. The other compartment has a couple of netted pockets, an open section and space for cards. Again well protected so it won't damage the screen. Also comes with a hard case with space for 8 games and 2 memory cards, wrist strap. screen protector and screen wipe.

I am in the same boat as you with this. I have already received the useless stuff but still waiting for my £5 off escape plan code :)
 
Disappointed that the US store has to wait ages for MotorStorm RC :( My imported First Edition bundle is nice though :) Hope they plan to unlock 3G from AT&T at some point. Got the following bits:

Little Deviants (Free bundle game)
Wipeout 2048
Uncharted : Golden Abyss
Lumines Electronic Symphony
Super Stardust Delta (Just bought from PSN as it ended up cheaper than the free with AT&T activation which my mate was going to do when he was out in the states)
$40 USD PSN cash
Got an official card storage case too which fits nicely into the case you get with the first edition bundle.

EDIT: Oh and I got the 4GB card with it but after realising it'll be next to useless soon I splashed out on a 32GB from eBay ;)

Cancelled my order of Hori Screen Protector and VIP case... were going to take too long to come, so I've ordered the Barrier Chief screen protector and 4gamers Travel Case instead. Both should hopefully come tomorrow.

Also, just bought BlazBlue which I had originally pre-ordered before I ran out of money, from the auction site for £18.99. Believe there are still a couple of copies left, seems like a bargain!

Still waiting on my Escape Plan discount too! :(
