Hmmmm, so just playing FIFA and the game froze so I held down the power button and selected power off. Now the PS sign is just constant flashing blue....I have tried holding the power button, quickly pressing, and vice versa for the PS button....

Hold in the power button for about 30 seconds mate.

I saw there was one left but I stupidly thought to check the reviews. Did that in 30 seconds, went back to buy it and it had gone!!!

Another n00bie question :)

Can you keep the PSVita downloading even when it goes into standby? Or do I have to be on the system (keeping it active) whilst it downloads??
 
Sales apparently not doing to good according to a friend who is a manager at a large (internet) retail outfit. It appears they were trying to deliberately portray shortages of the vita to make it look like it was massively in demand, when infact the small minority of folks buying it were just that, a small minority, who got their Vita.

Oh... fail!!

My friend said "Looks like we've got another PSP on our hands".

umm the psp sold amazingly. still outsells other consoles in japan.

either way im enjoying it and look forward to its long future

Hahaha heres the same guy who said 'everyone is in debt who bought one' and that 'it's a pointless portable, the same as the others'.

What next? You've just spoken to the CEO of Sony and hes told you the sales for the first week launch is down Vs previous launches? haha

go away, I see no portrayal of shortages?

You have just made this up really. Another PSP? what you mean the console that sold loads? fine by me, your friend sounds much more sensible than you lol
 
Name this retailer then? And give us a link to any retailer suggesting there is shortages of V Vita, then give us PSP sales figueres.

Seems you dislike the Vita for some reason? Do you work for Nintendo....
