Just typical Sony, I’ve had my pre order since they were announced and it’s not even shipped. Poor service as usual. This is why they should allow 3rd parties to sell it.

They do in my country, not sure why as Sony here does sell some things direct as well but probably their retail distribution is too small so our 3rd party gaming stores are selling the headset and games.

I bit the bullet on it; mine is shipped waiting to arrive

They can't win though; when the PS5 pre-orders started people were saying Sony should have taken control of them instead to prevent scalping.
 
That would be unfortunate. I had a similar thing happen with a DLC pass code included with Metro Exodus, they ended up creating a website where you entered the non-working code supplied in the box and it gave you a working code in return.

Yep that's what they should do. Or just send the headset only version and give an option to buy horizon at a cheaper amount with a discount code on the psn store..

Just send me the headset!! I don't mind waiting a few weeks to play horizon, plenty of other games to play.

There's something fishy going on given that it appears to be literally all the UK Horizon bundle pre-orders that are affected. No issues in the U.S, EU or Eire from what I can see on Twitter, Reddit etc.

Someone on reddit just claimed he got a shipping email a few minutes ago, UK and Horizon bundle.
