Does anyones dpd tracking actually say dpd have it or just expecting it?
If I type the waybill number into DPD app it says they received the package at 7.30pm ( I received the email about shipping at 22.43pm ). And I've just received an email saying my charging station has shipped too, but I don't have a functional tracking number for it yet.

Mine has said 'We've received your order details, and we're expecting your parcel shortly' since 13:30..

That's what it says on the app ? If I use the tracking link, which takes me to the Arvato website, I get less information - it just says expected delivery for tomorrow with the current status "ready for shipping". I'm sure it will work out - they seem to be lagging behind with the admin side of things, which is to be expected given the volume of packages that are being processed en masse.

I'm not going to whinge because I'm not getting it on release day, I'm at work anyway, but I placed my order on 16th November, so I'm surprised mine is still on preparing to ship. Clearly they're not processed in any order. I would like it for the weekend tho

Same. Ordered on 15 November and still preparing to ship.

Does seem a bit of a joke though.
There's people who ordered 1 week ago that have had theirs ship.
 
For anyone who's order is still showing preparing to ship try this, it worked for me and I've got a DPD delivery for today. It doesn't show on the DPD app for some reason.
  1. go to the order details page for your headset
  2. right click on the page + click "inspect element"
  3. go to the "Network" tab
  4. reload the page
  5. find and click on the row with a domain of "api.direct.playstation.com" (type will be "xhr")
  6. search (ctrl+f) for "trackingID"
You should see a line that looks like this:

"trackingID": "12345678901234",

Yep just found this on twitter - did this and its at my local depot.
 
Mine updated over night and is due today.

Does anyone know if the USB cable can be detached from the headset or do you have to unplug from the PS5 to store?

Also does it work with the USB connection on the front of the PS5 or just the back?

The cable doesn't detach from the headset. It requires to be connected to the USB-C port on the front of the PS5.

Nice, worked for me also and is showing as being delivered today 10:30-11:30. Oddly PS haven't even charged me yet.
 
Mine just arrived, DPD driver said he had 30 of them on his van for delivery.

Batteries in the controllers are depleted so only just managed to run the setup process before they ran out.
