I would class that level of over-weight as being a medical issue and airlines don't have a responsibility to supply medical transport. If they want to, sure, but not force them to.

profits isnt it........ in November i got a return to Palma (Majorca) with Rysanair for under £60 (around £120 with parking for a week and a suitcase). you wont get that if you halve the number of seats. Why do airlines insist on cramming as much tiny seats as possible in a plane?
i just flew with Ryanair and Wizzair recently, and find their seats okay for 2h flights, even middle seats..Since when has economy ever been comfy?
I'm not the tallest but I have long legs, always damned uncomfortable for me but I don't believe I'm being discriminated against, it's just how I'm built.i just flew with Ryanair and Wizzair recently, and find their seats okay for 2h flights, even middle seats..
Said that, I will never fly with wizzair, they changed most of flights I ever booked with them..
Laziness shouldn't be classes as an medical issue.
I have worked with people who are wheelchair bound because they never had or loss the ability to walk. Yet they are not overweight.
Maybe she could have a seat in the hold?
She's an aeronaut alright. After her moaning about not enough space and other entitlements, she has at least broken the "bubbly" stereotype of overweight people.
