Will be done if I get banned, fun while it lasted tho.![]()
I'm only level 20 but as my kids like to play and they are only 5 & 7 i used fake GPs app with pokemon joystick mode, as of yet I still have not been banned.
it has given what they say it soft bans where Poke stops wont give you anything or Pokemon will run away first ball, but it felt more like i was logging in to early for the GPS to update.
If/when i do get banned I'll be glad tbh as it's killing my phone, the heat it produces could warm a small country and now I'm having issues with the phone freezing up every few seconds.
I set it up on the PC for my nephew to play since he's 10 so doesn't have a data plan and you can't see a single pokestop from his house.
One of the reasons I prefer playing it on the PC myself is because of what you say about the phone dying, it crashes so often on my phone, runs much better on the PC.
Man im so impressed today, the game has been so stable, ive been playing 4 hours stright and no one single hiccup, managed to go from level 16 to 18, caught about 115 pokemon, stocked up on candies and all sorts.
Did something get fixed that wasnt mentioned?
A huge reduction in the number of players helps a lot.
Christ Craig, some proper mouth breathers there!
Where in Glasgow was that?Out for the day in Glasgow today. When I went for lunch I put down a lure that was right next to the restaurant, but got really disappointing spawns, even though there were several good pokemon on the sightings list. After lunch I went down to the Clyde, where there's a really good spot for catching.

Was so many people there playing, even more off to the sides in that picture. I was there for nearly 3 hours and all 3 pokestops were constantly lured. Water pokemon spawned like mad. So many magikarp, poligwags, shelders, goldeens, psyducks, staryus. Even got a few dratinis, a few poliwhirls, a very low level Wartortle.

And got these two practically back to back. Both new additons to the pokedex. And I also got a couple more new ones, a 757CP Fearow and a 785 Weepinbell. And I evolved a Staryu into a 1080CP Starmie.
I got so much exp! I went from the start of level 18 to level 20! Finally got ultra balls!![]()
I'm level 21 and have been saving my evolves until now. How important is an IV rather than just looking at CP? It would take hours to stick them all into the calc but it seems an ok method is to just look at their first power up stardust requirement? My 133 Magikarp is 87% whereas the first one which has a lower power dust requirement is 123 and 93%.
Is the IV just indicative of potential? As powering up requires candy and stardust I'm guessing you have to draw the line somewhere, as a 10 CP Magikarp whilst might have more potential would take some much candy to get there?
Ta. So would you agree as a general rule of thumb the highest CP with the 2nd highest initial power up cost, if that make sense? With a quick glance at HP to make sure it's not dire.
