Pokemon GO! (2016)

I just hope they eventually add other types of pokemon to catch. Only have the generation 1 ones kinda limits the variety. And the less variety, the less longevity.

The difference is you have to be near portals to do anything in Ingress. There is zero playability if your not next to one. Pokemon can spawn anywhere which means far more people play it.

I expect a lot of people opened Ingress, found there was no portals near them, so closed it and never came back.
 
Just got this - having never ever been into the whole Pokemon thing.

I think its a very cool clever idea - and it will get people out and moving more then before

Heard the best comment I've heard in a while from the family next door to me while leaving for work

Dad asked his son if he wanted to watch a movie this weekend, and the kid says no I'd rather go out for a walk and hunt pokemon please.

Heck if it gets people out and moving - even chunky monkeys - then I saw its great.

Oh and my best is a 131cp Drowzee, but I am only level 5 lol

Another nice little trick if you have Android Wear is to download the Ingress app and it will install a portal locator on your watch.

Might be tempted to download Ingress again to submit portals for pokestops...
 
I live right by a large forest, I though this may give me a nice advantage, me and the missus went for a long walk yesterday evening, we caught about two pokemon :( I'm not convinced the servers are working properly at the moment, its all very glitchy.

Although saying that, we did see a large deer pretty close up and its baby, which was really cool, so I guess the real world does still have its charms :D
 
It's a known bug, and it happens a lot to me too even when on Wi-Fi. I think it's when the connection drops, even for a split second, it will cause this

More often than not, when you go back in to the app you'll have the Pokemon you attempted to catch
 
Spent yesterday walking 10km after work all over central london with the misses. Took over a few gyms too. Funny though shes Lv10 I'm Lv14 and she gets better pokemon then me. I found an Electabuzz and tell her to get her phone out, mines 170, heres is 742 :(
 
Ditto was part of the 150, and Mew made it 151 :p I can handle an extra 1. But it just became too much when they added the new ones.

It's why I never really got in to the new games.

EDIT - Just caught a 353 Slowpoke at my desk, spent ages walking around tracking one yesterday! Typical! :p

I take it this link is definitely safe?

I just updated my Note 2 to 4.4.4 and the game doesn't show on the Google Play store on my phone. It shows on the website, and I can choose to install it to my phone that way, but then it just pops up and says it's not compatible :(.

Thats true, an extra 1 won't hurt! I wonder if anyone has charizard, blastoise or venasaur! According to the pokemon app, there are 250 to catch!
