Oh goodness, I was just starting to look at the spreadsheet and then I read this on top, I'm not sure whether I can be bothered to put this much though into it all, tempted to just power what appear to be my best. I'm also wondering how much its worth it considering the fact that the combat is a bit basic.

On another note, anyone spent much money? I'm always determined not to spend any money with games like this but tempted to spend a little on some lucky eggs and an incubator.

I had a good amount built up from Google Rewards app, so bought some coins combined with the ones I claimed from gyms to buy a few incubators.
 
Yeah I've been using Google Rewards, that certainly helps me justify spending a few quid on this. :)
I also have some coins from gyms, not a massive but it all adds up.
 
Spent £2. Don't see a massive need to spend anything at the moment with it being so popular you can just leech off everyone else's lures :p
 
Oh yeah I wouldn't buy lures, I don't think I've used any of those I've been given yet, I often hit a spot in the middle of three lures that are permanently up. I was going to buy some lucky eggs though as they make such a difference to XP gain mixed with some evolving. Also an incubator to get some more eggs hatched.

Actually gonna hold fire anyway, just hit lvl 20 and got rewarded with 2 lucky eggs and 2 incubators, maybe once they're gone. And ouch, the jump in XP needed from 20->21 compared to 19->20

Just evolved my best Eevee into a 624 Volteon, my besy Drowzee into a 743 Hypno and my best Mewtoo into a 642 Persian :D

Enjoy it, I actually discovered it charges 2 phones at the same time faster than the app draining both phones (6P + S5). Was out with a few friends the other day playing the game and one didn't have an external battery. The others did but they were low on charge (each varying between 4800 to ~9000). Mine easily beasted the entire day even with the extra phone :cool:.
 
guys, are the pokemon attacks more important than the CP?

A friend of mine told me that i should look through the pokemon ive got and choose the one with the best attacks rather than the one with the best CP and transferred the rest for candys)
 
Can you purchase pokecoins with itunes?, i have money on my itunes account, but every time i try and spend it on pokecoins it takes me to the add card page
 
Has anyone else seen this issue with Pokemon Go!

My wife has a Moto G third generation (don't know if this matters, just mentioning for completion).
If she clicks on Pokedex she gets the grid showing all the Pokemon she has caught.
However, no matter which Pokemon she presses, the screen just brings up Charmander and fails to show its evolution track.

So for example, she presses Kakuna, the screen immediately scrolls to Charmander. The word evolution is displayed but where the pictures should be, instead she has some vertical writing, as if the page is failing to load correctly.

User presses any Pokemon in the Pokedex, is always taken to Charmander and she cannot see the evolution images.
 
took over a couple of gyms this evening, my Elektabuzz is awesome! Porygon on the other hand so so rubbish, it got whopped in 3.2 seconds lol

Smartphone makers need to release more waterproof phones. Struggling to play in the rain even with rain coat on
 
AAAARGH! A Snorlax spawned in the town next to mine. But I have no car and its gonna despawn in like 5 minutes. There's no way at all I can get there in time.

Why don't the cool pokemon spawn near me?!? :(

I have the same issue, spoke to a few friends at work and they also have the same problem, we all have different phones (though all android). I thought mine worked okay to start with, but definitely doesn't now.

Edit - strange, after restarting my phone it seems absolutely fine.

My house of Pokemon wonders continues to deliver! Sat on the sofa watching Ant Man, phone buzzes and I have a quick glance expecting another Pidgey and it was actually a Dewgong :D I'll have some of that! :p
 
I sometimes struggle to play this ony Moto G 4G, even with swapper installed it just chugs sometimes, makes throwing the Pokéball a crap shoot.

Just tried a total restart on the Moto G and still the same issue. Did a little more digging - appears to be an issue many are reporting:
