Yes

And really you don't need a poll. Do you want to be flipping between 60 and 30 fps or do you want a steady framerate. I'm sure freesync users would also report the same.

The only people not bowled over by *sync would be those that would never drop below their minimum framerate anway

I agree, completely nonsense poll.

Yes. Times 100.

People who haven't tried it, and deride it are, are plain ridiculous.

People who have tried it, and deride it, are ****ing blind.

I've said it before, but for me it's the biggest revolution in PC gaming visuals for years. And years.

I've just bought a Dell 27inc Gsync...and it's not mind blowing...

Before that I had a Dell ultrawide 34 inch ...

Running around the same place @ 100 fps is no different on the dell Gsync than running around the place @ 60 fps ....on the dell UW TBH...

Yes. However.

depends. it does make a slightly smoother experience at 60fps, if your getting a solid 60hz. Shows its true value on frame drops though where they are not really noticed however 30fps is still 30fps, and the game goes all slow lol, you still notice frame drops. Well did on my old 4k hense why i swapped for a 144hz monitor.

Using a non g-sync 1080p 60hz monitor the other day and its still smooth with a solid 60hz.

60-85hz is nice on rpg games. 60-120/144 is a far bigger difference on fps games. Coupled with G-sync it just makes it butter smooth.

Try something that kills frame rates, get something dipping into the 40-50 fps area and tell me you don't notice.

What about running around the same spot where frames vary between 50 and 100. THAT'S where the beauty lies. Capital letters just used, yes.

If stuttering, hitching, judder, screen tear, etc don't bother you then fair enough

Also, if you're not seeing the motion clarity difference between 60hz on a non gaming IPS panel and 100hz on a TN gaming panel (the dell is virtually the same as my rog swift I believe), then again it may be time to rethink those old eyes of yours bud :-)
