That x99 deluxe has me wanting to upgrade just because it looks so frigging nice!

But no.... Must wait til 2016. Must wait. Must not buy. Don't need.

that board looks entry level, the white looks cool but wont look right inside a black rig...bad colour clash.

i'd go for another SOC FORCE just as long as it's not over 160 quid

Intel Core i7-5930K – six cores, 3.50GHz/3.70GHz clock-rate, 15MB cache, 40 PCI Express 3.0 lanes – $583;
Intel Core i7-5820K – six cores, 3.30GHz/3.60GHz clock-rate, 15MB cache, 28 PCI Express 3.0 lanes – $389;
 
5930k at current rates is £351 and the 5820k is £234 we must be talking after shipping and tax about £429 for the 5930 and £299 for the 5820k ?
 
Will wait for Broadwell or more likely Skylake before I consider an upgrade.

the next thing to buy will the latest AMD dual card next year....whatever that will be.

DDR4 will be late 2015/16........the Broadwell fits mine, but it isn't worth it if i'm going to swich to DDR4 in late 2015

Yeah that seems about right, 5820K around £300 looks like a great deal imho.

Looking forward to seeing the reviews on the 29th. Have a feeling the 5820K is going to be on everyone's upgrade list..
