Wouldn't be surprised if it's a GE, strike whilst support for Corbyn and Labour is so low. Makes sense from a Conservative point of view.

Edit: Yup. Labour is going to be demolished.

I would say its a GE simply because they know that negotiations will still be underway by the time that they need to hold one and they hold such a commanding poll lead at the moment so are doing it now rather than when the world has ended.

Exactly, by the time 2020 comes along we will be holding the **** end of the stick, everyone will be poorer with further service cuts across the board and the Tories will be unpopular

She is announcing a worldwide begging trade tour, visiting the most dodgy countries in order to get some crumbs.

What are the rules for a GE? Is it not a fixed term parliament?

Why can't we all just get on with our lives instead of wasting time with brexit, general elections and a bunch of other **** that won't make a difference. Instead of having to re-write half of our laws and spend weeks campaigning a bunch of lies (applicable for both brexit and general elections) why can't they spend their time doing useful things like figuring out how to afford fixing our roads and not having to wait 7 hours in A & E.

Because a lot of the people who are in charge of things are idiots.

Some guff. Lots of 'the will of the people is under threat', 'get the job done', 'one chance to get this done', 'uncertainty' and 'success of Brexit'. She's really playing the song of her people on the flute of Daily Mail despair. :p I loved her use of gameplaying though. Almost meta.

At least Labour will be able to start over properly after that

Liberal Democrats will do very well in this (they will likely get a large majority of the remain vote).

Labour will likely do awfully. They don't seem to stand for anything anymore
