well ray certainly isn't going to win, he might cram a good number of sympathy votes like gareth gates but i hope he doesn't win. i've got a £2 bet on it. :p
 
I thought maybe this year we'd have someone capable of shifting their album but nope... it's going to be another "one hit wonder".

I feel sorry for the show, it attracts the kind of people who buy Westlife's album! ;) :D :p

I guess we'll see, but from #1 to #14 is quite a drop.

[Edit] Just have to add, that Leona must surely win now. If that sod Ray does, it's forks in the eyes time! :o

The Mcdonald brothers should be thrown in a bin and set on fire. They make me cringe every time I have the misfortune to see them.

If I were to vote, it would be for Leona without a doubt.

It is sooooo obvious Leona has the voice and star quality to win this - she is amazing, missed her Whitney song tonight though :(

Can't believe Chuckie is through. Still, almost guarantees Leona will win, which is only fair as she has been the best by far throughout the competition. Ben might have been a decent challenger as he seems a nice bloke, but munster-child, yeck, he's gotta go.
 
Global warming, dodgy sushi, nuclear weapons, we are all so wrapped up in these sorts of matters lately we've forgotted to keep tabs on Lucifer himself.

Somehow he got into our world. You think this isn't serious? In the end you'll be begging Ray for mercy as he treads on your burning corpse, grinning.

I've never been religious. But next weekend, I shall carry holy-water, a copy of the bible, and a large crucifix toward the TV set as he makes his final appearance... and tries to open the portal to his underworld.

If Ray's minions get into Earth, it'll be too late. So next weekend is our only chance.

Ben, if you read this. We need you to come back next week and sing as loudly and aggressively as you can (preferably to a soft 80's rock theme) directly at Ray as he makes the sign to lift the seal to Hell. Also, ghostbusters, we could use some 'slime' which is probably massing underneath ITV studio as I write this. If you could slime Ray just as Ben screams at him, we may be able to send him whizzing back to hell with that soul-shattering inhuman grin. Pray people.
 
It was more likely the publics dislike for Sharon. Ever since the made an ass of herself she has had a singer in the bottom 2.

Also, I think a lot of people feel the same way I did about Ben. He was boring, never changed it up and his voice just wasn't THAT good. He sounded the same in every song. If I wanted to listen to a voice like that I'd rather buy a Rod Stewart, U2 or Joe Cocker.

Leona has a phenomenal voice (or potentially such) and Ray is an entertainer who makes you believe what he's singing. He also has personality in spades, something neither Leona or Ben have.

Maybe I was watching a different show but Ben had far more variety in his performances than any of the others. They sang their songs as well as they could and as they were told, did you see last week with his gospel choir backed a cappella arrangement of a queen song?

Yes, he showed a lot of weakness in his voice and his performance wasn't believable. The Choir however was superb.

All he did was start songs quietly and start shouting. There was little to no variety at all, he sang all rock songs bar 'Your Song', which just sounded shouty and he didn't attempt any uptempo pop songs to show diversity, something which both Ray and Leona have done. I do like the guy, but he just became repetative, boring and very much a one trick pony.

His acapella arangement was brave, but for me it didn't work and was poor, especially if you were to compare it to Shane Wards acapella arangement in 2005 which was stunning. You couldn't even compare Ben and Shane, Shane is a fantastic singer and a better performer than Ben.

This year however you have Leona who is a sensational singer and Ray who is a cracking little performer, and his performance on My Way was incredibly believable, very well sung and humble.

As I said before, I honestly believe it was that horrible horrible woman, Sharon Osbourne which harmed his chances. I don't think there was a co-incidence between her being asked to appologise for her actions and then having an act in the bottom 2 every week. That woman has no humility, when it comes to any other act it's a backhanded compliment, last week for example "You're a funny little thing aren't you? Like a little Jack Russell, you just won't go away!"

It was a shame however that Robert went home so early in the show, fantastic voice, shame he couldn't keep his mouth shut.
 
I don't think Ben's voice suited him.

I think he may have gotten away with it had he cut his damn hair off... wouldn't surprise me if he did that next year - he would get more female fans that way - at the moment he is singing 'hard rocker' songs and just doesn't have the image for it.

Leona is fab, she has a great voice, but has confidence issues as we all know. This is good because we (ok most girls ;)) would probably hate her if she was too cocky, but at the moment she needs toughening up.

Ray - I just don't like him and if he wins it will be another case of Shayne Ward/Steve whatshisname syndrome. He just screams cheese to me and doesn't appear to be able to sing anything post my dad's era or that isn't a ballad.
