watched it for the first time last night, leona was top notch

I liked Ray, but at some points he lost the proffesionalism in the voice, if u know what i mean... Ben is good, but I cant see him progressing

leona would be good on disney soundtracks etc... thats what im measuring everybody by :P

RnB stuff? All I can remember hearing from Leona is dreary ballads, the girl really bores me to tears.
I really couldn't care less who wins now. I'm not denying Leona can sing, I just doubt she'll EVER do anything I would be interested in, and Ray just makes me cringe, something about the way he looks just irks me.
Was a similar thing in last years American Idol when Chris went out, although Taylor Hicks was still interesting.
 
She has an amazing voice... I can see her doing rnb stuff and she is capable of much more than ballads... was just giving as an example of what I can see her doing :)

Seems like all the contestants keep singing the same genre of song this year :/

if you're 23 and you go out and buy 'Rays Hits' don't worry. There are all sorts of medical advances in this area of cognitive deterioration, just seek treatment before you go out and do something harder like Rick Astley.

Firstly who the hell is Rick Astley. Lemme guess, another poster-pop teen male? Trés bien, lol!

To be honest, i'd never buy anything produced with the sole value to sell to a demographic, trend or scene anyway, let alone anything considered pop or produced by the X-factor. But I can tell straight Ray has more of hardcore edge than all ya pussies put together. That's right. :D

Sentiment echoed. I havn't been following the show at all, but watching some youtube clips makes me want to chop my limbs off. Its not even the bum notes and poor 'for tv' performances, its the utter same old same old drivel. This leona girl, she is pretty, she can sing, is she original? Jesus christ no. I dont care about seeing mariah carrey on stage, belting out her lungs, thats already happened. I want to see mariah carey, beating a small child with half a fresh haddock smoking the wacky backy while pole dancing with a monkey playing the banjo. Now thats original

That simon ****** released a song covering Sarah McLachlan - Angel, which was even more criminal than Ronan Keatings cover of Goo Goo Dolls - Iris.

Somebody please arrest him for crimes against music.

Why buy Leona albums when you can buy Mariah Carey who is much better. Beyonce is better too.

They both have a bit of diva about them as well and are both fitter.

And the least said about ray the better. He said he was in the west end already and with the fake waterworks you can tell he'll get a few offers to do theatre.

Let's face it sunday afternoon TV is dire anyway. I tape it saturday evening so I can skip the adverts sunday. (reduces the time spent watching but about 35 minutes.)

But why can't we have a UK version of both of those artist and why can't it be Leona, she seems to have the vocal talent!

Obviously at the moment she has to sing covers of other peoples songs, shock horror she likes to sing songs by Whitney and Mariah, what would you expect her to sing songs by Metallica!

Ray for the win...

Leona just does stuff with power and can not stop stop doing vibrato - ******* annoying when listen to some songs - she should try to sing a clear straight note, its much harder and gives a better sound.

I've seen Ray do that many a time.

I'm talking here from the point of view of a singer myself (am in a vocal group)
