Pork Pie Roundabout Madness

To be fair it's a pretty poor pork pie roundabout purely from a pragmatic perspective. A proper pork pie roundabout would make the place more picturesque and in parallel pee off PETA.

They are taking the ****. It isnt a serious request.

I'm amazed that people still fall for it and make posts about this stuff.

People like the OP are the reason that we still get scam emails and rubbish like that. If nobody fell for it it would stop pretty quick.

It ain't the roundabout making people fat.

Nope, it's all this body positivity that's happening. They remove billboard ads showing slim models as people claim their bodies are unachievable... No they aren't, it's just most people are too lazy to put the effort in to get one.

We are more concerned with being accepting to morbidly obese "models" than trying to stop an obesity epidemic.

When will it end?
Various places have these names in their street name or village name
. Pudding
. Sweet
. Butter
. Cheese
. Lamb

Should they change their names?

All this body positive crap is going to bankrupt the NHS in 20-40 years time if it's still around then.
they need to put a health tax on junk food and stop the nonsense

To be fair, it's not Vegans as a whole here, it's PETA. As much as I admire what PETA stand for, they have a tendency to go at things in the wrong way, usually quite militantly.

In this case, it's a roundabout, who gives a flying pork pie about the naming of a roundabout, honestly.

Yea they should call it 'tortured pig roundabout', be more accurate.

I wonder how long it will now take before some person or body suggests an island in Leicester with pork in its name is racially insensitive or worse? To me such things would have been unbelievable 30 years ago, now... University trusts are currently reluctantly coughing up the truth about what classic books they have deemed fit for a warning note or even total removal.

even in the 90s you would get the odd newspaper article about someones pig ornaments in the window and the police coming around  because someone reported it

So, someone posting a light hearted news article VS actual people getting scammed out of their life savings is equivalent?
I was going to ask how you came to that conclusion, but I'm not sure I want to know
Lighten up a bit.

Leicester has many Muslims. Never heard of them being offended by the pork pie roundabout
