Porsche Killer

Uneducated, unaccountable, irrational, hyperbolic, stupid, unexperienced opinions on a public forum populated mainly by teenagers who have probably never even sat inside the car being discussed let alone driven one, well I never!

Have sat in one actually. And everyone's entitled to an opinion. I dont like distractions and things flashing at me when I'm out on a blast. And as fox would say, this is a discussion forum etc.

Off out now anyway so carry on gentlemen :)

What was flashing at you when you were out for a blast in a GT-R that you couldnt turn off?

Or is this another stupid urban legend like half the rubbish people post about iDrive?

I cant see flashing lights being a viable moan, turn the dash lights down, but i do agree that if you dont like the look of an interior then that is enough to finish you with a car, and give one an opinion.

I've seen a few GT-R's on the road. They just look chavvy. Sorry but that's my opinion. Like a supped up Saxo with one of those massive gigantic exhausts being driven by a spotty teenager

The screen is massively configurable, dimmable and you can switch it off. Nothing flashes, by the way.

Absolutely, but peterattheboro said it lacked character and soul. Quite how we have got on to the blinky lights is a mystery to me.

A guy at work's got a GT-R, impressive in the flesh!

I quite like the looks of it, but it just looks too 'big' - as if the whole car's been increased in size by 10% or similar, and seems slightly out of scale with everyhting else. It's probably me just being irrational but it puts me off them slightly.

Lot of people like a name, some take it further than others, nothing wrong with it, its a good thing actually.

If I had the monies and was buying a car purely based on the name then it would be the G-Power M6 Hurricane RR but I'd still want a GT-R - Heck, I'd still buy a GT-R even if it was several years down the line!
