Have you been told for certain you've got one?
Not guaranteed but they have taken 10k from me, they contacted me because when I bought my last car new from them 6 months ago they gave me their word that I would get the next GT 911.
I would say I'm in good standing to get one but nothing ever is 100% guaranteed.
Good luck and if they have taken 10K then they need to step up as they have been told not to take deposits if they are not supplying a car. I know people with many many Porsches who seem unable to get one so you have lucked in.

I'm pretty sure that the OPC's already know who is going to be given a allocation. On average with the 991.1 GT3 their was a average of 5 cars per dealer but with all things some dealers got more and some got less.

So has Porsche over the last few years become exceptionally 'fashionable' or is there some other reason as to how Porsche have managed to create such frenzy and there's so many people lining up to throw money at them...
(I have no real clue about Porsches but always find it entertaining the sheer hoopla re GT4, 911R etc waiting lists, flipping etc. Interesting stuff)

My dealer called me yesterday to put my deposit down. We shall see if it materializes. GT4 prices are on the rise over here, so I'm super happy about that.
People know how much money was made from the last model, they all want a quick win, that's all. Most of the people with LOI will drop out come the 10K deposit time, probably 80% but that still probably leaves a 4 x 1 over subscribe.
Pretty sure Shmee's dad is massively into cars, and when ever Shmee says "I have done XYZ" what he really means is Daddy has done XYZ and he is taking credit for it so he can get views on Youtube, in exactly the same way he financed his operation in the first place. The same goes for VV and all the other young private school educated boys who somehow find the finance for very impressive cars and video equipment from no where.
I know this is the case for a number of YouTubers with very expensive cars. However I've followed Shmee from the beginning on the days of him being a car spotter and posting his photos on Pistonheads. I actually do believe on the whole he's financing his own cars. He's built a very successful business with his YouTube endeavours. If he was a millionaire playboy type he'd be like the others eg Salamondein, JWW and just having a laugh doing what they want. Shmee is putting out a video everyday and has a very high work rate (he posts about his business on PistonHeads currently and takes it very seriously), there's no need to chase YouTube that hard if you're already millionaire and doing it for fame. While I don't doubt he has a comfortable background I highly doubt he'd have been running around Mayfair with a camera and working in the city to just about buy a V8 Vantage if his family were wealthy enough to just hand him a fleet of a Ferrari FF, McLaren 675, Limited Edition Aston Martin and whatever else he has.
In terms of video equipment you really don't need big bucks these days to create exceptional content. STG has recently done a video of him showing all his gear and I was surprised by how basic it was given the quality and videography of his videos.

*PDK - Give me the lightweight manual option
*Radio - The sound of the engine will be good enough
*Rear parking camera - This is for people who dont know how to park
*Smokers pack - I presume this is for people who smoke..... I love my lungs.
*Carbon Ceramics - Are these really need? I think not.
*Interior carbon trim - I dont see the point lol
