Paint looks great Gibbo, what kind of package did you have done, how many hours?

A full paint cleanse, so he washed the car with purple rain to remove any metal fall out from the paint, such as brake dust. The car was then clayed and re-washed. Then the paint correction and polishing was performed. It was then re polished, waxed. Then washed and waxed again! Two day job.

All the door shuts and wheel arches were all cleaned as well.

Have you guys thought about putting on XPEL Ultimate, JP it may be worth looking at as your car is brand new.

I had something similar on the GTR and never really liked it, sure it saved a few stone chips but compared to paint up close it doesn't look good.
The protection films are slightly thicker than just a colour change wrap which gives the car an orange peel effect.

Just going to deal with the fact the paint will get marked and will do as Gibbo has done when it gets bad enough.

Hope you didn't get sucked into the whole Autoglym Lifeshine thing at the Audi dealer for your R8. :o

That seems like a bargain for 2 days worth of work!!

Why I had it done as most £400-600 for what I had done, Autobrite are very competively priced, no wonder he is constantly booked. I can't believe how good it looks in the flesh, I'd never have thought a flat yellow colour could have such a deep shine.

The sun came out earlier and it was truly popping. :)

Hi there

The sun tried to come out, did not really manage it, but grabbed a few photos:

Here is rain water beading off the car, still very clean after being driven in poor weather:

I then gave the car a quick wash as was not really dirty and then topped up with some project 32. again very little sun but still car has so much depth to it and for the moments the sun does come the car is so reflective:

One of the things that always make me smile when I am driving the 911 is this view:

I see you have anti dazzle wingmirrors. I think that supercars (im classing a 911 as this) dont seem to age as much as normal cars. Look at an 80's 911 they look cool, then look at something like and escort not quite aged as well.
