Porsche Owners Thread - If you own one or just like or hate them! :)

Lol as the above 2 posts.

I have not seen one in real life so will pop into the dealer tomorrow. I think it may make the car harder to sell as its a bit marmite

Hmm, uninspired. Manual only is a disgrace considering the GT3 is PDK - they've folded under pressure there.

GTS seems the much better choice if used as a daily driver / not on track.

Cayman GT4 details released.

385bhp, 3.8 litre with manual only. £64.5k starting.

Sounds great but for the first time I am disappoint it's manual only. The Porsche PDK is so good now I'd take it over a manual.

Price better than expected though! If limited number will be another profit maker for those who buy them.

I imagine they probably had some package concerns getting the PDK in along with the 991 family engine. Also has rev blipping between changes, although can be turned off. And 918 inspired seats on the options along with ceramics.

I personally like the look of the GTS more which I think looks pretty much perfect for a 'small' sports car. The GT4 is obviously going to be a bit of a legend though.

Damn!
It looks bloody amazing, like a proper racer, 7m40 lap time too, very impressive for such little horsepower.

Can't believe how much of the GT3 kit it has, must be truly sensational to drive.

Was ordering a Mustang a wrong idea, I can only imagine how good this thing will be to drive in fact I can't see anything sub 100k rivalling it and being as usable. :)

Yeah unlike Porsche to offer such a great base spec, only options seem to be 918 inspired buckets (so buckets as standard?), ceramics and a Clubsport package which am guessing is maybe rear cage?

The Porsche manuals are superb though which is one good thing, I just hope they are not limited numbers and end up costing a fortune because so as be nice to get in one in a few years, drive has to be immense.
