Possible Middle East solution?

Some far better suggestions have been made than what I can think of.....I was especially impressed with the Rich_L's idea, I just hope he has a big enough anchor (no puns please ;)) to keep Israel in place.

You know, I'd place a bet on these hairbrain schemes of dragging Israel to the middle of the sea or placing it on stilts are actually cheaper than the military costs of doing it the traditional way.

Don't know how this would solve the ME 'crisis' at the moment, but it would be something to do while we were thinking of a solution...

The difference between GD and SC is in here there is a sense of humour and not every post is a mile long and asking for sources :p

It makes a nice balance to get comical posts with the Serious posts :)

I think that's out of order, to be fair. I think the vast majority of people (even if they make "jokey" posts) realise that both sides are as bad as each other and there's no easy solution.

Surely we can all see that both sides need their heads banging together and the world needs to work out a way to make it work - and that includes the US stopping their two-faced behaviour (calling for a solution to the crisis, while at the same time flying planes loaded with bombs out of the UK for Israel :rolleyes: :rolleyes: ) and also Iran/Syria stopping the same behavior towards Hez. Can that ever happen tho....

....I dunno. Maybe a big war is what's needed. It's going to happen sooner or later most likely.....why not get it out of the way :(
 
Obviously not, but I believe that to be the biggest problem. Isreal throwing their weight around, causing more problems than solutions, occupying land, taking more land etc etc.

biggest probl;em? they've been fighting for offer 2000 years not even the usa was around back then. Hezbollah have a lot to awnser for. if everyone left isreal alone there wouldn't be a problem. But then thats never going to happen. Because they don't think isreal should exist. So your in a no win, no win situation.

It doesn't matter whether they give or take, they seem to be surrounded by a bunch of barbarians on best behaviour... recently they have given and look what happens
