They are both pretty good, you're not losing anything recording with with a Toneport 1 - I think the only diference is that TP2 has meters, an extra input and optical connections...
 
What is a toneport? some sort of middle east solution :confused:

I vowed I would stay out of this thread, but curiosity and boredom got the worst of me and I clicked on it. What I read left me aghast, not because I disagree with some of the opinions voiced in here (I respect anyone's right to hold the wrong opinion;)), but because of the incredible arrogance of this line:

I'd be curious to know what makes you qualified to preside over a discussion to find a solution to a problem which, for the past several decades, countless statesmen, martyrs and genocidal butchers have tried and failed, each in their own way, to solve? I'm genuinely disappointed at people for dignifying this arrogant nonsense with responses, as it represents the most humiliating trivialisation of the problem possible. Debating each of our personal views is one thing, doing what ElRazur suggests and playing statesmen and try to come up to solutions with it is completely different - it might just about be acceptable as a class exercise to primary school children, but to ask for a serious adult discussion of something like this is so incredibly patronising that it makes me naseous! Why do you think you can untie the tange of local and international politics, relieve the weight of religious-ideological extremism and erase the blots of blood feud? Can you link me to where you bought your magic wand or is it a competitor site?
Of course you can't, and of course you have no answer to my questions, because the whole point of this thread is merely to draw attention to how mild and peace-loving you are, how pained by the world's sorrows, to your statesmanlike nature and the fatherly love you nurture for your people, and you had no serious interest in the region's problems whatsoever. I find this the only possible explanation as I can't imagine anyone posting something like that with a straight face!
Hope you get in as the next UN Secretary General! I'm already busy sourcing a nuke which I will strap to my chest before skydiving onto your office.

What's wrong is that you're urinating on the graves of the people who got killed so you can inflate you own sense of self-worth by playacting as "debate moderator" and "significant forum contributor". Ordinarily I wouldn't give a toss, and you know I've never bothered to even comment on your shameless posturing in the months you've been posting here even though you've been the subject of hundreds of mocking posts by others, but when you're exploiting a topic I feel strongly about for the enlargement of your e-penis, I feel it crosses the line from being pathetic, ridiculous and funny to being plain disgusting.

This aint about myself worth or wanting to playact. I guess any Op in a thread discussing issues like this is trying to be a significant forum contributor? (according to you) You are crazier than i thought, Ive never seen myself in that light but if that's your short-sighted view ...why not, you are entittled to it and perhaps you could have done yourself a favour by NOT posting here at all (but then who am i to tell you where and where not to post)

Ive been the subjects of mocking post?....come on, tell me something i already dont know. People are free to express their view so i wouldnt hold it against them if im the basis of it. This is a forum and i dont see it more than that in that aspect.

Seriously, i think you still need to calm down and take you time to go through what i have posted in this thread so far, on comparison to some, i have been serious but GD being GD, it just get spammed.

You need to go back and read the original post and then you can apologise to El Razur.
This could have been a seriously good thread about how we the people could resolve the Middle East crisis but instead knobheads like me come along and ruin it.

It WAS the original post that I objected to - not to the OP's or anyone else's personal opinions on the topic, but the arrogance of the stated aims of the thread and the fact that it's abusing a tragic topic to enhance the OP's image (that's the way I interpret it anyway, as I feel that the OP's stated aims are so incredibly conceited that he can't probably have meant them seriously).

Because the implications of your phrasing is that they only died due to ElRazur and the OcUK Peace Corps not having turned up earlier to solve their problems for them. There's nothing wrong with discussing the problem and speculating on possible solutions, no doubt with tempers flaring and accusations of pro-Israeli or pro-Arab bias flying back and forth, but to say you're going to "OFFER" a solution to the problem (which will doubtless strike them dumb as they stand in awe of your wisdom) is so incredibly conceited that your ego is spilling out my monitor and making a mess on my desk!

Why don't you stop by Cyprus on your way back, sort our problems out while you're at it? If you can solve the Middle East situation You'll be able to fit the Cyprus Problem into your lunch break! Consultancy fee $630,000 min. (negot.).

In summary, I have no problem with your opinions on the Middle East situation - only with your opinions about yourself. You can argue I got the wrong end of the stick and have read far too much into the way your phrased the OP, but, while that's possible, I think it's far too consistent with your general posting style and the little I know of your personality as revealed through your other posts that you'd have a hard time convincing me that I misinterpreted.
