We have seen the price of the Fury X, who is going to get one ?

Fury Nano all the way for me ... I have a Silverstone FT03 case at the moment. If there's a high res / high refresh monitor that tickles my fancy at IFA, I'll go 2xNano.

Otherwise I'll wait for Zen and Arctic Islands before doing something (very) quick with monitor to match.

You said that in response to issues with dual AMD cards, heavily implying that Crossfire is on par with SLI. That's the part I was saying was deluded. :)

This isn't about you. I'll make it clear once again so there's no confusion: Nvidia have superior multi-GPU support to AMD.

Only the wildiest of fanboys would disagree.

No offence but I just don't care.

AMD did well, the new cards look well designed and if the performance is there I will get one. That's all I have to say.

Cheers :)

 I see the thread is back to it's old self.

I find it very tedious to have to wade through childish bickering about how "my card is better than your's"

I know the 4GB mem issue has been done to death. However why was tomb raider used as an example?

What would the 4 and 5k memory usage be at the settings she was talking about?

Nvidia made 1.5X the performance per watt increase, just like AMD have now done, what else is there to say.

This place is ridiculous.

AMD haven't made a real improvement though, going by the presentation they're just shutting down parts of the GPU when it's able to be shut down (ie when you have v-sync on), if you need all the frames the card is capable of like at 4K it's probably still going to pull a huge amount of power, hence the AIO cooler.

Fury is priced so well.. annoyed I invested in a G-Sync monitor now :P

Might get that mini thing with two GPUs so I can have everything

I really hope that fan in the renders is not the one it ships with, the typhoon fans are a ton better and much quieter. Its been pictured plenty with the typhoon fan so hopefully the renders are from a time where the fan was undecided.

Well we got to see something new and pretty awesome looking. But due to lack of benchmarks and comparisons to 980tis and Titans, we are still kinda lacking in useful information :(

I am excited by these new cards though. The way they are built looks a helluva lot better than the GTX cards and I love that they said 50c and overclockability. Sounds good!

We will see in testing. Even if there is a genuine 1.5x improvement in standard gaming then that would still put it behind the 980/980TI efficiency.

Agreed, need to see them in action get some reviews.

The cards look well designed, really liking the styling. AMD have done really well imho.

LOL well done picking out one thing mentioned and automatically assuming that's the only thing they did to improve thermals and power despite them saying they did a lot of work to cut power.

Ok what did I miss? Is it faster than the TX? Is 4GB HBM enough for 4k? Is it confirmed to be £649? When is it out?!
