Fury is priced so well.. annoyed I invested in a G-Sync monitor now :P

Might get that mini thing with two GPUs so I can have everything

Same price as the 980TI in the US, no UK price released yet. Looks to be similar performance for the same price, so i don't see why you should be annoyed.

AMD haven't made a real improvement though, going by the presentation they're just shutting down parts of the GPU when it's able to be shut down (ie when you have v-sync on), if you need all the frames the card is capable of like at 4K it's probably still going to pull a huge amount of power, hence the AIO cooler.

Your misinformed.. Shutting down parts of the core when not needed is not what causes the higher performance per watt.. they are 2 separate things. The cards will be able to perform 1.5 times faster per watt when going full tilt.. 2 times for the nano. Thats pretty well done on AMDs part. Give credit were credit is due friend.

AMD say it's the fasted GPU on the planet, I would say it's a safe bet the TX is beat.

I love the fact they are actively encouraging overclocking and apparently the fury is a beast at it.

If the Fury X beats the Titan X and comes in at under 980 Ti prices, Nvidia are in serious trouble.

the guy after annoyed me too hard to stick around for the giveaway lol

yeh i like the look of nano too
& huddy did good <3

I'm particularly interested in the possible application of HBM to an APU.

Could make them a rather attractive proposition if it's feasible.

Im still stunned here! :D

Loving that new ref design, and what happened to Fury being a higher tier card, higher price ? :p

Me too. The whole thing turned out better than my best expectations.

Now I fancy buying a Fury X ffs. lol. But I will be strong and wait until 16nm (I think) :D

Him give credit?

Best info for release dates I can find Quote:

"A new family of the world's first HBM-powered GPUs - The AMD
Radeon(TM) R9 Fury X, which is the world's first HBM-powered
graphics card (previously codenamed "Fiji"), is scheduled for
availability starting June 24th. The AMD Radeon R9 Fury, with both
liquid- and air-cooled options, is slated for availability starting
July 14th. The deceptively small (6" in length), category-creating AMD
Radeon R9 Nano is scheduled to follow in Q3 2015. AMD also plans to
bring to market this fall a flagship Radeon Fury product for very
smooth 4K gaming and VR that is based on two "Fiji" GPUs."

Let's hope it lands for under £550 and outperforms the 980ti. The equivalent 980ti is the EVGA Hybrid at £650. Add in an overpriced gsync monitor and it'll be over £200 cheaper to go with an AMD product. I'd prefer an 8Gb card, but I prefer fps to AA, so as new games come out I'd happily cut out the AA (and VRAM usage) to boost the frames.

I think reviews will only come out once these are available at retail. AMD didn't seem to send their cards to reviewers so they'll have to get a hold of one themselves.
