I'm not wanting to get involved in the petty squabbles that appear to be taking hold in here, but the most interesting product appears to be the nano.

Even the most anti-AMD of people should be able to see the merits of this product, which represents the potential game-changer of HBM and is pretty much unique.

Nano was indeed the star. Supposedly faster than 290X but with a cooler the size of entry level GPU. That's just ridonkulous perf/W

Nvidia enjoyed a record breaking 980 release and a year of increased sales leading to record market share and record profits.

That is a pretty good strategy. AMD likely has around 8 months to sell Fury before Pascal turns up.Soemthing tells me they wont make as much profit as Nvidia int his round.

750ti type pipe-cleaner Pascal is probably aimed at late Q2. Enthusiast late Q3. Titan probably not until well into '17.

I still expect Arctic Islands range to be fully available before NVIDIA have their first 'fast' HBM product.

There's less than zero chance of Enthusiast in 8 months time.

It is interesting and cool to see but really only relevant for mini-ITX people.
It does highlight a nice future though, HBM gaming laptops for example.

Not according to Nvidia, if you know more than them you should tell them.

Well at least the Fury X will make OCuk price the 980ti's at the RRP and not way above it :D

Supply and demand be gone....

Hugely mistaken, unless AMD produce more Fury X prices on it will be very high, less Fury than there is 980Ti.

We also have 980Ti below the UK RRP of £549 with OcUK model at £539 :)

12GB of vram will no doubt keep the X relevant longer than it's lilttle brother.

Which is to say not very long at all compared to the original Titan. All cards out today will be mid-rangers come the process shrink next year. I'd hazard the 980ti and Fury X will remain current for the same amount of time as the Titan X. And without paying £300 for a tenner worth of GDDR5.

Probably, but the difference is more like £200 if you buy wisely / compare the prices. 12GB of vram will no doubt keep the X relevant longer than it's lilttle brother.

vram have no value right now, you get next gen Memory HBM, and you have complete line up from AMD with double Memory, 390 & 390X with 8Go, even Low-mid End Gpus got 4Go now.
AMD completely stripped the appeal out of more GDDR5 Memory, just when Nvidia decided to push for it :D

Well, actually if you bothered to look at high end GPU cadences, outside quick refreshes,Nvidia has kept to at least 15 to 18 months between launches of high end GPUs.

Unless OFC you think they are willing to scrap a brand new GPU they designed within 8 months.

Plus,14NM/16NM is likely to be quite expensive too.

Its more likely we will see a GTX980 replacement but even that will be probably closer to the middle of next year.
