not really they're getting top notch gaming performance at a good price with full driver support working g-sync and a bright future ahead. They knew the AMD card was coming out and bought anyway don't feel sorry for them.

Nar if I had just bought titanx and couple weeks later another gpu for less the price and matching it in performance I would be very mad..
For one titanx you could almost buy two 980ti... Shocking.

As the fury x comes with an AIO is there a good chance board partners cards will be cheaper? Assuming they are letting manufacturers release air cooled versions.

That's exactly what I did except I wasn't mad in the slightest since I sold it at only a one hundred pound loss. The Titan X will always be in demand since nothing can match it's massive VRAM.

Quick question: are AMD GPU's larger/hotter/less efficient (to whatever degree, Hawaii quite a bit, Fiji a hell of a lot less) than GM204/GM200 partly because they use some die space to add to certain areas of compute performance?

I'm very excited for these cards even though I'm sitting this round out, it's great to see new tech and renewed competition.

Also, if Nvidia did rush the 980 Ti out to capitalise before Fury's arrival surely they needed more cards available to be able to make a dent?

I'm not wanting to get involved in the petty squabbles that appear to be taking hold in here, but the most interesting product appears to be the nano.

Even the most anti-AMD of people should be able to see the merits of this product, which represents the potential game-changer of HBM and is pretty much unique.
