What the hell are amd doing with this 390x it should have been released months ago to counter the 980 :(

I'm a amd fan don't get me wrong, can't stand nvidia, but what the hell, getting actually super pee'd off now that iv not had a shiney new toy since I bought my second 7950 way over a year ago.

Id grab a 295x2 but knowing my luck the 390x would come out the week after :(

We have known for a while that they are not coming til at least June. Yet everyday people wonder where the cards are.
 
Yeah it's annoying. I ordered a nice new build yesterday minus the GPU because I didn't want to order a £300 290x when the these new cards are coming out soon.

So now I'll be using the Intel HD graphics (only playing League of Legends at the moment) until AMD brings the 3 series out..so I really hope it comes out in the next 2/3 months haha

But I guess at least that gives me extra time to save some money and for the first time go for a top end GPU instead of a low/mid range one.

Aren't there normally some leaks close to release anyway? Snippets of information that we can at least look at. From what I've read there is nothing concrete about the 390'x performance.

I will be happy if it's close to the Titan X's performance but for around £500. That would last me a good few years at least.

Exactly, just forget about until 1st of July, if no card out by then come back and act all confused/disgusted.
 
It's amazing how many times we've been told that June is the likely release date yet so many people are actually butt hurt that AMD aren't releasing the card in the next 5 minutes.
It also doesn't help when certain people come on here every 5 minutes sprouting out rumours as if they were facts when in reality we know nothing about clocks or prices of the card.

The strange thing is info has been released about the GTX980Ti (not 100% sure if official ), anyway after announcements the GPU comes out relatively quickly. I think we might be seeing a highly clocked GTX980Ti released very soon even prior to the R9-3XX range.

Nvidia will suck-up even more market share this way while being able to price drop if needed later on in the future.

I couldn't care less to be honest I'm happy with my 980 and the only reason I'm thinking of upgrading is for more vram.
Just awaiting for Titan X to come back into stock.
