I leave my main pc on 24/7. It's just too risky :(

I leave mine on 24/7 and never get a problem.

If you are going to get a water leak it will most likely happen in the first couple of minutes of a new installation.

I would be more worried about leaving an AIO setup running 24/7 as these are not as robust as a proper custom setup can be.

I went back, first to air then to a combination of AIOs, though I'm tempted to go back to a full custom loop.

I really admire full custom loops that are done well but it aint for me personally. I prefer a proper air setup. Granted that is a bit dull compared to custom water cooling but the hassle if you have a broken fitting or all the work bending tubes cause that "rubber" tube color like a m***********.

Once you go full custom water cooling you never go back :D

I don't know about that, I've got a full custom watercooling loop and it's a pain in the backside of you want to replace hardware in hind sight I wish I'd used quick disconnects now, still live an learn. Next time I'll be using AIO coolers instead.

Same here, went full watercooling once and its a pain in the arse if anything needs to get changed out.
