Post your bikes thread

really like that m8... did you buy it from new ?, though I can't see how the ZZR1200 fits into kwaks lineup with the ZZR1400 there.

I buyed the bike 3 months ago it's on a 2002 plate 7 years old with just under 4000 miles on the clock hardley run in :) i think i found a gem very pleased with myself.

The zzr1200 was the follow up to the classic zzr1100.

So passed my module 1 with ease! One minor, didnt do mirrors/shoulder check when i stopped.
Been offered a different bike today, the CBR600 isnt being sold...
A Kwaker ER-5 52 plate, 16k, ace condition but! It is a ex school bike so has a few dings - £700 squids and needs new front tyre...
Mad to go for it?
Im assuming I pass and want a bike with more go asap so figure ill get the ER5 now and use that while I shop around for my ideal bike.
Such a step up from a CBR125, 55BHP on the ER5 fairly shifts for a newbie biker.
Thoughts gents?

ER5s are alright, but really really dull. If it's an ex school bike it will have spent half its life on its side or pootling about, but nearly all ER5s are either used by schools or lunatic despatch riders... schools is the lesser evil!

Personally I'd skip it, they're just so dull you'll want off of it almost immediately.

The other half's and my road bikes, hers on the right

Yeah Ive ditched it - Found an 02 Fazer for 950 near me in great condition so going for that! Pre-emptive before the test but MEH.

Really the fazer replaced the original diversion as it was getting very dated. So in essence really they are the same type of bike. It looks like it is using cheaper parts compared tot he fazer and may be lowered tune. More of a spread out power. If this diversion is anything like the original then you could easily do 30k miles with no servicing. They were built like sherman tanks. I rode mine for 3 years and never had a full service other then oil and filter change. Was still going pretty strong when I sold it.
