Post your bikes thread

Yeah, not that many Jock riders here. :p

Myself and the group I ride with normally go West Coast'ish for ride outs, generally out Dalmally road/Glencoe way but sometimes depending on the weather we will take an East Coast route, out towards St.Andrews via Kinross is a favorite. :D

Pardon my ignorance, but what is it you run again, Davie?.

Are there enough Scottish riders here to perhaps think about organising an OcUK Scottish bike meet?. I know it's not a great time of the year to do so, weather wise, but - meh, we have the best roads in the country up here.

Ouch, thats nasty:eek:Just had my quote for this year on my 750 and it's coming in at---------------------------------£145 F/C with £350 excess:cool:
Mine is older than yours though.

I suppose thats the benefit of being old though:( (39 going on 40)
Your premiums should start to drop, if you have no claims though.

23 with 2 years' no claims. the main problem is running a supersports in northern ireland at that age! :(

I was 22 with 6 years no claims and my insurance was 900 tpo with a 2005 636 ninja??

No problems insuring the 250 hornet now though :D

MCE in Engerland. They rang me back up today again, and said £980 with £500 excess for TPFT. I told them I wanted FC like before and he was like "are you suuuuure you were fully comp? I don't think so but I'll check. Right enough you were." "A quote FC will be £890 with £500 excess".

Still, too much for something that'll be crap and annoying during the winter...

Finally got mine out on a trip to Donnington to watch some of the VSCC meeting.

A couple of updated pics hopefully a bit better than the last one,

Cheaper than you would expect, picked up that (2nd one I have had) for £3k, needed new battery, spark plugs, HT leads, fuel filter and a oil change... runs sweet as a nut now :D

Picked it up with 8800 on the clock, done all servicing my self, got 13k on the clock now and not had a single problem. All be it, the clutch is slipping a little which costs £150 for the new plates but due to being a dry clutch its a 15 min job :)

So don't mind to be honest.
