How do you find the stompgrips? I've seen a lot of, well, orgasmic reviews ;)

they do help actually... i ripped them off another tank and the glue still holds on. :) watch it if you dont get it right first time.... it took a bit of paint of the other tank. :o

theyre more of an improvement in the movement in the wet as obviously the tanks more slippery in the wet and on long sweeping bumpy corners (like gerrards bend at mallory when it rained so hard at the first meeting they abandoned it after 3 hours due to flooding) they help.

Ah, well, I ride like a big poofta in the wet anyway :) But thanks, it all goes in the back of my mind for future mods. I'll not be back on track for a year or so (got diagnosed with osteoperosis, brittle bones and duffus dip don't mix) but I'll probably put a set on my track bodywork I think.

Picked this up yesterday what do you think?

:D

Seriously though, it's a guys in work. He had it about 4 weeks now but it's the first time he's brought it in to work. It's absolutely stunning

He had a black 999 before this (was that the previous one?). Everytime a new Duke comes out he seems to get one of the first in the country as he buys them from the same dealer brand new ASAP!

Just the one I'm afraid as I was walking into work this morning. I'll try and pop out in a bit and take some more. He doesn't bring it often as he lives in B'ham and stays up here during the week so the bike stays at home.

TripleT that is a very nice bike indeed :D

Just passed my theory test today, 35 out of 35 and a score of 53 on my hazard perception :D

DAS next and hopefully start of June if not before I will have myself a Ducati 749, pictures to come soon :D

By brothers mate has got a 1098.Very nice bike!

I'm surprised how many 1098's I've seen on the road already. Lovely bikes - cant say they are the best looking compared to say a 999, and apparently the build quality is very dodgy, even for an italian bike, but they are still pretty special, and really do shift.

Bit late into this thread but my bike temporarily breaking down on a dual carriageway was a perfect photo opportunity so here is my bike.
