Given that the X5's press launch was at a race track, I think BMW have no intention of it ever being used thus.
I followed this exact car 2 weeks ago in Derby! How odd!! The gf just said it looked like a spaceship and carried on reading her magazine lol, I almost crashed a few times while gorping at it!

What is it with Ferrari's and town centres lol. The owners just seem to roll up and stick it bang outside where their going. I'd want to park a beast like that as far away from prying fingers as possible!

I saw an X5 today with Alpina wheels and a different front grille. Seriously low profile tyres too... bet that car has never been off road and never will.
i think it might actually be cheaper than a 320d M sport..
but then you'd have to spec up the alpina quite a bit to get all the goodies

Saw this in Redcar the other day. Thought it was quite funny. It was an elderly couple who obviously weren't paying attention.

I believe they parked too close to the road and they opened the door just as a bus was driving past.
Some people are amazing...amazingly bad at paying attention to the road and/or their vehicles..like this tool

Didnt manage to get a pic of either, but saw both a Ford GT and a Bugatti Veyron around Southport in the last couple of days.
Veyron was tonight and someone had parked it outside a cinema over 2 spaces. Also had the number plate B1, must have been expensive.
