Shame its a rep but i wouldn't say no to owning one!
Nice! Strange route this year, down to London, up to Amsterdam and then back down to Montenegro again. I expect to hear about some lunatics crashing on the motorway across Europe..A few shots from the Gumball 3000 in Edinburgh earlier:

Gumball is just a sponsored show-off club for people like "Shmee" now. It's not what is was when it started up, when it was basically a cross-continent road race![]()
What's with the stickers? I've only just noticed that they all have the same "sponsors", are they just given a load of stickers by the organizers or something?
Christ they're so cool.Just spotted this RS Turbo in M&S car park. It was in lovely condition.

Did it end up getting crashed, like the majority of fast fords owned by 20 year olds back then?Had a modified red Series2 in my early 20s, fun times![]()
I've never taken part and never would but the Gumball was started as a transcontinental booze and drug bender, which is what it still is today. It wasn't and never has been a race, unlike the Cannonball which was very much an illegal race. Unless you consider Tara Palmer-Tomkinson and Goldie to be serious racers?
They are provided and must be fitted in order to participate, plus the £50k entry fee.
There was definitely racing and other shenanigans. A few people had crashes, got arrested at borders etc.
It's always been a silver spoon club though.
There is a banger version of it which sounds a lot more entertaining.
