Post your DSR and VSR sreenshots here

Things that stand out here is the draw distance, look at the rope, steps, fence and tree and even the statue..

What are the in game settings there Shanks?
Oh, and not to start another argument, but it really would be easier if you just resized the second image. For the sake of convenience if nothing else :)

Can you notice the difference between 1920 and 3200 on my Vsr Dirt 3 pics?

The only difference i can see is the vsr shot makes things slightly sharper in places. Look at the you're in control writing on the sign. The woman's face standing at the side of the road. The little Green roof also looks slightly blurrier at 1080p.

Yes Dirt 3 even though the framerate is reduced going from 1920 to 3200 with Vsr in my case is one of the games that has playable framerates.

1920x1080:

3200x1800:

I notice a big difference, open them up and flick between them and you can easy see that the shadow in front the car becomes more detailed, trees and grass become less blurred mainly in the distance.

Well, I use firefox and it doesn't have the option to open an image in another tab.

Never mind.

@win8.1
Yeah, I guess if you really, really look for it :) I'm willing to bet that it's one of those ones that's a lot more noticeable in motion?

I can and its subtle.

Foliage on the threes and especially the foliage on the ground left side shows more detail, a tad sharper and better highlights.

The gravel in front of the car is sharper and better defined, likewise for the white house in the distance.

The haystacks on the right have better defined shadows.

EDIT: and the FERODO signs are sharper.

And that's all i can be bothered with :)

Exactly. Makes things sharper.

The differences are subtle but it would be more noticeable in motion as you say. I could not really see the differences in your pics until you pointed them out. Then when I took a closer look I noticed. :)

Subtle differences indeed. Whether its worth the performance hit is another thing. I suppose in games with plenty of framerates to spare it might.

Yeah, it does.
All I'm basically saying is that it makes it a lot more convenient for everyone to compare the two images directly in the thread and all it takes is two secs for you to open in paint, resize and save before uploading :)

Done :D Although I saved over the original by mistake, I think its reduced the quality. I also think scrolling up and down doesn't show of the images enough when comparing them.. Flicking between them shows the details much easier.. This why for example Greg couldn't see any difference on Win8.1 screens.
