My System:

Yamaha RX-V361 5.1 Home Amplifier

Dantax Octava 40 250W RMS Max each

SkyTronic 100.048 Centre Speaker 45W RMS

Yeah I need to arrange stuff xD
The centre speaker is situated in the middle, under the plug

Else, need to arrange all of the other stuff

The art of cable control

Have 7 speaker cables to connect and hide next running 7:1

All cables running behind skirting and theres a lot lol

TV looks small but its a 55 inch

pre-amp

av amp (runs centre,rear and sub speakers)
power amp for av amp (runs surround av speakers)

power amp for main amp (runs front left speaker)
power amp for main amp (runs front right speaker)

power supply for power amp
power supply for power amp

easy lol with about 4,000 cables

Mono blocks as they called give a lot more power for one start and a cleaner signal to each speaker, so they say never tested against a single amp, whether or not a mere mortal can here the difference, but power wise it certainly can fill a room with quality loud music without clipping.

I just brought it as a high-endish system and thats how it came.

Had a Rotel pre and mono block system upstairs pumping out 360 watts rms each speaker with a soild copper speaker cable, it pumped out so much heat down the cable it melted my mission 753 speaker cross-overs.

You know you can also use seperate amps for driving the woofers and the tweeters on bi-ampable speakers (not all are) too ...so you can do further than zulu has even

Have to agree BUT its going have to a dear one (24 foot from back wall where it would have to sit somewhere) seen a few ones very reduced in price, just waiting lol

Yea, I couldn't agree more, I don't even have surround sound, just high quality stereo, since the point of a high quality sound system to me is for music.

That is a quality setup zuludawn! Good job with the cable tidying it looks really neat, something I need to get round to doing.

Those amps look absolutely gorgeous, I bet that is one great sounding system you have there. Also the MA RX's look pretty sweet

Edit: Those naims look nice and slick as well!
