Now I want a projector. :(

Do they suffer from image burn/retention?

game much ?

wow do the PS3 and Xbox still work? no breakdowns yet? lucky you :)

All consoles still going strong. *touches wood* I use the ps3 far more than the 360 though due to the BD drive/streaming.

If I have a slow weekend then I'll spend quite a while on them gaming. :p

laz-z,

Where did you get that cabinet? It looks ideal for my situation too!

It's an ikea unit I picked up for £40. If I remember correctly, It's called besta. The price may have gone up/down since, as I bought it just over a year ago.

Marv, nice to see you posting on here :) Hope you're well buddy, those speakers look

At least the gf can't complain about there being big bulky wooden boxes all over the room ;)

You know me mate, always one for pretty things! I hope you won't bring up all my old comments about HiFi being a waste of money!

Yeah she quite likes them now i think. She was less than impressed about my 10hour journey to Brighton in her car though!

How're things with you? Still working in Preston? Was it homeserve you were at? My girlfriends brother started work there a few months back

Just brought my Xmas present for me!! Replaced my front Ruark Spectre with Monitor Audio RX 8, so Audio Monitor Silver runs Front ,centre and sub, Ruark bring up the rears 7:1

I forgot all about that, thanks for reminding me! :D

I'm good, yep still in Preston and no, not working for Homeserve. I work for an ISP (same place as before if you can remember who). Not for much longer though I hope. Looking to move to Bolton (shared house at the moment) with the gf in April and will be looking at moving on from here at the same time.

Here's an update to my cinema setup.

I now have a new Beamax screen, along with a new reciever, the Sony 2400es.

The speakers are q acoustic 2020's at the front with 2010's at the back. The sub is a BK 200xls.

I have been patiently waiting to get things together and I'm pleased with the results. Think I've also seen your setup on the AV forums kyle32:cool: Loving what you done and nice flat by the way!

I've replaced my much loved 3 year old Kef 3005 speaker system with the B&W 685 Theatre package (keeping the Kef sub for now).

My kit :

Pioneer Kuro 50"
Foxtel (sends to bedroom)
Foxtel HD
PS3
Toshiba HD DVD Player
Panasonic DVR
Onkyo TX-SR805

Fronts : B&W 685
Centre : B&W HTM62
Rears : B&W 686
Sub : Kef HTB2SE

Not the best pics ever :

I loved the Kef's for what they were but these are just another level entirely. Such a full sound and makes old songs I haven't heard for a while (in stereo mode) seem new again.

Just listened to the 5.1 DTS 96/24 version of Bohemian Rhapsody and it was immense :D
