Post Your Home Cine & HiFi Kit...

See I even like this better than the one in the other thread!

Thanks mate, that's an impressive setup in the link but yeah it does seem a bit cold. Perhaps its to do with too much electronics on show at the front, plus maybe not enough colour. I would have at least hidden some of the stuff at the front. Looks kind of cluttered, but still impressive.

I've replaced my much loved 3 year old Kef 3005 speaker system with the B&W 685 Theatre package (keeping the Kef sub for now).

My kit :

Pioneer Kuro 50"
Foxtel (sends to bedroom)
Foxtel HD
PS3
Toshiba HD DVD Player
Panasonic DVR
Onkyo TX-SR805

Fronts : B&W 685
Centre : B&W HTM62
Rears : B&W 686
Sub : Kef HTB2SE

I loved the Kef's for what they were but these are just another level entirely. Such a full sound and makes old songs I haven't heard for a while (in stereo mode) seem new again.

Just listened to the 5.1 DTS 96/24 version of Bohemian Rhapsody and it was immense :D

Really nice speakers! Ever thought of a projector in the room? You've got plenty of space for it :D You could have the screen on the wall above the tv.

Thanks. Yeah I could get a 100" projector screen in that space easily. I've been studying full time since February so may have to get back to work in order to spend any more money.....

Should really post a pic of my lounge. It's not an amazing home cinema set up, more a nicely integrated, room fitting, high quality solution. Here's the equipment:

Visual I Pioneer Kuro KRL-37V I Xbox 360 250Gb HDMI I Toshiba SD-370 HDMI I

Those sofas look like something out of the 70's! They look damn comfy though.

Just got my new pre amp. Hope people don't think i got the one with huge knobs to compensate for something... It truly is something to admire though.
