Comments welcome :)

DLS? Never heard of them.

Tidy setup though. That wallpaper though...I can't decide if it's epic in a good way or a bad way!

Have you ever had your center below the TV? If you have is there any noticeable difference between the two?

They're primarily a high end car speaker manufacturer, but are branching out into home audio. It's very good stuff. On the grand scale of audiophile shiz, i'd say the FlatBox range is mid-range (still miles better than anything you'll find in the typical high street).. They do some special FlatBox speakers, called the M1 I think, which are no doubt a lot better still..

I haven't tried the centre underneath. With some sources/films you can tell the centre is above but there's not much I can do about it.. The screen is at the right height for me.. although when you recline the chairs the screen could do with being a bit higher! It's all a compromise.. as always!

The sound is fantastic though. I just love it when a film has some good background music as you really get the separation and atmosphere with this setup. It really catches you out sometimes. I know this might sound like audiophool waffle, but even the un-trained ear has said "wow that sounds great". The sub enclosure was designed by a friend of mine and I commissioned Elements Audio in Middlesex to make it for me (mostly CNC'd). It's really good. It should drop to about 18hz and it certainly makes things waffle. I just need to make sure I don't fry the driver (but I do have a spare!)..

I'm really missing my kit with it all being in storage until at least the middle of next year.

By then, my son will be 18 months old and he's already a sod for trying to pull the Sky box off the shelf. I think it's going to be a few years before I can trust him not to punch holes in my tweeters so until then, I'm having to suffer the torture of TV speakers :(

haha, luckily I'm still running my chunky Panny X10 so the speakers aren't quite as bad as some of the newer slimmer TVs I'm sure.

I did actually have my B&W 601 S3s on B-Tech BT77 mounts but they just sounded awkward and I didn't really enjoy the experience. Previous to the wall mounting I had my 601s as rears and some 603 S3s up front. I didn't really feel a need for a subwoofer with the 603s but it's definitely an option.

Perhaps I was a bit too used to the 603s, hence why going back to the 601s was such a disappointment.

Sound bar? Granted they don't compare to a proper setup but it'll be a lot better than TV speakers!

Chaps, I have a new build so all the walls are magnolia. The living room has laminate floors and a mainly black theme. I want to paint the wall behind the TV, any ideas? Not the best pics, sorry.

Pics are fine. I recognize your setup. You made the front page of AVF if I remember correctly?

How you finding the MA Golds? Big setup from the Bronze range.

I'd go red I think.

If I did I don't remember!

The Gold's are superb. Even though they were ex demo and I got a killer price on them, they have taken a long time to bed in. I've had them about a year now I think? And only in the past few months have they really started to come alive. I can make the whole house vibrate with my Roksan at 1/3 volume.

I was thinking red or perhaps slate grey.

I have the same stand and love it, but don't you find your TV too high? Mine is fine at stand level.

Heres my TV setup atm,Nothing impressive really,Only a 32" 1080p LCD (100Hz) iirc, but it really does me fine,Looks nice..eventually il upgrade to 4K but not yet.

Installed that little middle shelf today too as the little HTPC and the 2 speakers next to it were all next to the AMP on the bottom and it looked all cramped up and untidy. :)
