Pained the wall and put cables in it.

Don't know how deep that room goes back but that's begging to have a screen and a projector fitted :)

My STR DN1040 has been swapped by Richer Sounds as the network featured dies on it and i had the 5 year warrenty. Sadly they don't make parts for it anymore so they swapped it for the 1060.

Any questions asked or did it go off for testing? My yamaha is playing up but I don't want to not have it for a week so I'm dealing with the problem (which might be in part due to the tivo not sure, if I pause it after about 5 mins the audio goes all static and loud, also sometimes get a green line across the screen when changing input to example the ps4). I've got a 5 year rs garuntee on it too bit must be 3 to 4 years old now.

I'd tried a full reset etc so they just wanted to test it in store to make sure so i had a subway while they set it up. They reported the same issue as me and offered me a loan unit (Onkyo TX-SR252) while it was sent off to be repaired. Returned the loan unit when i picked up my replacement. Was really pleased with the job they did, just not their communication as i had to call to find out if my new amp had arrived yet.

Moved into my own place for the first time last week. New build so stuck with white walls for the time being. Excuse the aerial cable as I'm having to use a portable one for the time being.

Just starting out in home cinema but I'm rather pleased with how it looks and more importantly sounds :)

IKEA Byas TV Unit

Stickers will be coming off at some point. Sofa's will be going either side of TV when they arrive in a few weeks time. Priority was getting this sorted so sat on garden furniture for now :p

Yep very. Asked to have it removed as I have a double one on opposite wall but was told no due to building regulations. Luckily when my sofas arrive on the 27th, that one will be covered up and not as noticeable.

Hopefully it all displays properly :)

Looks great. Although that lampshade is older than me from the looks of it :D

Modern it up. Looks fantastic otherwise.

Ha, the GF only bought it the other day, she likes the shadows it creates/the chrome etc etc.......

Initially it looked like one of those old 70s round ones full of crystals and god knows what :D

Those shadows would drive me around the twist though... :o

Moved into a new build a couple of months ago, its still very bare, work in progress however the setup is coming along nicely and a few upgrades in the pipeline as all the kit is fairly old. Also just waiting for an extra pair of hands to help mount the projector screen on the ceiling.

Panasonic Viera TH-42PZ80, must be coming up around 8 or 9 years old now and still going strong. Plan on getting something new in March next year. Possibly OLED but ill wait and see.

Sony Str2400es, be upgrading next year as it doesn't support 4k or HDR

Optoma HD131X, still does the job but again might consider an upgrade in the next year or so. Homegear manual 120" screen.

Q acoustics 1010i 5.1. Still to sort out the rear speakers but having issues with placement. No plans to upgrade the speakers for now.

Surely with the size of those left and right speakers, you'd be better off with floorstanders? probably take up a similar space.
