Moved over to the Q990B. Couldn't get on with the center channel on the A9'S.

As you can see my priorities are well in order as I'm still rocking the 1970s carpet and wallpaper. This room will be fully gutted and decorated next year, I promise (I already got a bit giddy and started taking the paper off)! I've clearly been having too much fun buying speakers and subwoofers to care, afterall I can't see it when watching a film with the lights off.
For size reference, that's a 50" TV, looks a bit small these days I know. Usually for movies I'll use a projector against a 92" screen.

How much do you charge?My amplifier is all done...
All the electronics are designed by myself. The amplifiers are using the TPA3255 class D. With this PSU I can get a total output of about 1.5kW across the 8 channels.

Wow I think you win the thread! How are they sounding? How much did they set you back? Wish I could house some JTRs but my speakers are on show sadly.

Hey mate, it's Saul from AVF, Ken right?, I think I've told your before! £5.5k and they are the best cinema speakers I've ever heard crystal clear and sooo dynamic!

Shame it's nearly 10 at night or I would give it a wee blast with the start of Edge of Tomorrow. Looking forward to the weekend for that. Neighbours might think differently though
The Polk sub is like a toy compared to the BK.
Desperately need a new TV next. Those QDOLED Sonys look nice.

The Samsung is a good option if you’re a fan of origami - it’s great for folding in half given how flexible it is
Recently moved into a new place. Went for the bigger TV unit as that 49" will be replaced with a 65" at some point and should "fill the gap". Pretty sure I'm going to get some floor standers as well, really not sure what ones though. Focal Chora 826 I am currently eyeing up but it changes often!

If you're sat on your sofa while taking this picture, I wouldn't go for floorstanders - your room doesn't look big enough.
Adding a small sub will give you a better experience, if only for the improved soundstage.
