Pretty sad but yeah. Works really well in all honesty.
I'd be too concerned about moving to much in the chair and either getting the cable tangled, or them getting pulled off. :p.

Here is my new setup. Sorry for the bad pictures.

Messy cables around the back :(

The TV is a 50" Samsung plasma.

Got 2 more floor speakers tucked up around the room as well :)

There is a break junction in the cables for this issue. They snap out when i roll the chair too far.

Ok I was wondering how you could play CSS on wireless keyboard/mouse lol

Not gonna happen.

Thanks for the quick reply/

Being 10 feet away isn't a problem for a decent KB / Mouse.

Meh whatever,

CSS is simply not a game to play sitting 10ft. Incase its not obvious not many wired kb/mouse come with 10ft of cables.

I've tried it myself and it can't be done.

What do you mean? you do realise there is virtually no difference between wired/wireless mice and I'm on about Logitech MX series here and the FastRF lineup of cordless devices.

I think you're having a giraffe to be honest.

There is far too much lag to play a game like CSS which is mission crictical gaming unless you like to get pwned. You could easily game like CnC3 and i'd accept that is possible (Infact I do game that).

Another problem is that it is difficult to see small objects far away in the game on the TV when you are sitting 10 feet from the screen.

Wireless is fine if you have the receiver on a desk but at longer range its even poor,

I've got the mx1000 btw and mx610 before you mention that, not even a scratch on a good wired mouse like mx518.

Keyboards I found were unable to handle multiple simultaneous key-presses but I'm using a MCE keyboard so perhaps that is why.

Whats wrong with wireless mouses? the one I have does not lag, only when I move really fast but thats because its only 800dpi, a decent wireless mouse should have no problems

On what looks to be a 50 inch screen? The objects aren't so small :p
