Post Your Home Cine & HiFi Kit...

Looking at the last few pages it seems like 2 out of 3 TVs are Samsungs. Is this an OcUK thing or do they just sell that many LCDs?

P.S. I want to post a picture of my plasma but waiting on my new house before I buy :o

Blu Ray movies using the PS3 are sensational.

NO **** SHERLOCK with that LX !!!! And what an amazing tv it is :D

Get over to avforums if you need some help setting it up properly. The moderator kingfats is very helpful.

I'm actually in the market for a stand like yours Ad, didn't see it in your spec so you mind letting me know where you got it? Oh and price ;) :)

I would love to be able to help you........ But it came with the flat, which is about 5 yrs old. I do think it is an old 'yellow swedish store ;)' model as the construction seems like it, plus it has the Hex bolts that they use. It also has 2 sliding glass doors, but I removed them as the Sony PSradiator puts out too much heat to be sealed up.

Check out their new units anyway, some of them look really good if you leave the castor wheels off.

what Stand is that ??????

'Yellow and blue swedish store with a maze ;) ' LACK in the dark brown colour.

Great stands, and made an extended version for my parents that was modified from two of them. The bottom shelf (where the units are sat) along with the side panels attached to it are put ontop of the same ones on the first unit, then top panel is plonked ontop. Reason to do this is because the single unit is very very low, as in 30cm height.

Love the ATC's -Ad-!

Always wanted to get some but could never track any down. :(

gt

Cheers

They look soo much better in real life, my pictures are very average, but on ebay they looked even worse.

Can't recommend them enough, but you definately need a hefty amp, as my arcam struggled a bit even with 75Wx2 and sounded quite dark, but the Lyngdorf really opened them out wnderfully with its class-D design and 200W into 8ohms.

Great value speakers, and keep an eye out on the auction site they normally go for £500 ish, I managed to get mine for just over that with the target stands (which I saw when I went to pick them up and offered to take them for £40) :D

Lol. I think you can say Ikea on these forums.

OMG competitor, Don edit him with yellow text and e-punch him in the ovaries :D:D:D

Half the time I don't know who can be said, we all pushed the boat out in the GTa4 fiasco where we tried supermarkets and other game stores.

Prizes for the messiest setup?:p

This is at my friends house in their converted barn where I do all my film watching. There is another friend living in there temporarily (hence the clothes mess etc.) until the 3 of us move into our own place next month.
Then I'll get my PX80 plasma and have a proper setup in a bigger room.

About half the items are his and half mine.

Rough list of the kit:
  • 32" Toshiba CRT - old but lovely TV, takes component etc
  • PS3 & PS2
  • Sony 6.1 AV receiver
  • Mordaunt-Short centre speaker
  • Floorstanders (completely forgot the make)
  • Eltax Sub and rears
  • Cambridge Audio CD player
  • Logitech Driving Force EX wheel
  • Border Terrier dog
