The clock is Beautiful Widgets, I refunded it because something just didn't sit right with me, if I could just have the clock and not the weather I'd get it again.
Does the weather animate
?You can get Desktop Clock I think it is, check page 5 someone may have what you wanted.

Indeed, no real reason to use it if you like the widgets, it's just for us fiddle-a-lots
I didn't used to, but I find it a lot easier now to put different categories of icons on different home screens instead of having to search through all of my apps in the app drawer that are always moving when I install new apps.
Hence why my screens are so cluttered, I've even filled up a screen with contacts now. Also I'm very picky about my widgets.

I do like a fiddle, more with the rom then the layout! I try deviating but i always come back to that or very similar
I like the left as social, few contacts, friend thing and sms, home is just home, very used apps... sms, gallery, internet. Right hand side is misc, the music player is a new addition. News i love and the websites are ones i have been using lots of. The exclusion is ebay/paypal, i was selling stuff but its all gone

I'm with you, as much as is like to change the bottim tray I would just miss htcs widgets too much, I got a better bookmarks widget tho that doesn't take a full screen but only holds 6 pages, I'm not a fan of pages filled with icons either
