I don't have a job or a lifestyle where weather affects my existence.
And you can't comprehend some people do? Not even work, some people want to plan days off which can be dependant on weather. It's not that odd a thing, surely?

Nope. People only do it to jazz up their phone. That's the only reason. He even said so a few posts up.
I use Facebook to see what my friends are up to but I sure as hell don't keep a running commentary of them on my lock screen.
Want to know what the weather will be like two days from now... Check forecast, plan. Job done. Don't need a running commentry 24hrs a day surely...?
Wrong, plane and simple.
But you have your battery % on your screen AND in the notification bar?
You can't tell me your homescreen is for function and not for looks.
Battery % is there for a reason. Its the most important part of the phone.
My homescreen is purely for function. Its simple. Shows the time/date/battery and then 4 shortcuts to the most used apps.
So important you have it twice!? But someone with the weather in their screen is the idiot?
It's not as fuctional as people using widgets. Clearly your gone for a minimalists home screen, which is all about looks over function, so it seems weird you're attacking people for designing their home screen to look good (not that I agree on that point).
I'm gonna guess you used to be an iPhone user.
I've told you why the battery % is displayed twice but you selectively didn't quote that. I'll say it again.
Battery % is displayed in the status bar and the lockscreen and on the homescreen for the following reasons:
- Its in the status bar so i can see what the % is when using apps such as youtube, navigating with google maps, watching a film. Without it i would have to quit the app and return to lockscreen to look at it which defeats the purpose.
That doesn't tell me why it's displayed twice. That tells me why it's in the status bar. Why is it on your home screen?
Because its next to the date and time for easy reference. The same way it is on the lockscreen
It looks pretty!
Quite useful for knowing what the weather will be like later on or tomorrow etc. and the great thing about snowstorm is that it's pretty damn accurate I find.
Saves you moving your view 4 inches up. Weather on your home screen for easy reference is in thinkable though. Okay.
What does the weather have to do with his phone?! Ha ha. Just because something is important, why do you need to look at it. Why not CPU clock speed then?
Tbh I now think you're an idiot, so won't bother any further.
