I always loved the style and general interface in webos it's just a shame that it fizzled so much and that there's still a massive lack of apps and hardware.

Back when the pre came out there was no doubt in my mind that the pre & webos were superior to the G1 and android 1.0/1.5 I would have got one if they were launched in the UK earlier and with more carriers.

But if you look at how far Android has come since then vs webos it's amazing. I really hope HP pull their fingers out of their behinds and push it further.

Finally got a new phone

Is there any way I can get rid of that menu bar for go launcher ex? There's a built in menu button would have thought it would disappear.

You need to export them as PNG, and/or upload them to a service that supports PNG.

Not sure what you're doing wrong. It does say this though:

If the image is over 1MB, it will be automatically compressed to 1MB for better viewing on the web.

Weather widget is eye in sky and the battery widget is battery widget reborn.

I used the widget overlay feature in nova launcher to put one on top of the other
